(Hi everyone! This is my first quest! The next few posts are a bit of backstory. Hopefully it adds to the mood and such.)

Another day at work. Long and boring, but its the only thing that I can find at this time of the year. Driving home is the best part, I think

My name is Ibos. Two days ago, I was a wanted man, now I am the wanting man. Funny, isn't it? How one simple action can from the tables.

You see, this is a city of corruption, with only money as the only language anyone knows. And now thanks to a few "new friends", I - What the hell?! Damn construction people! Jeez, the detour's going to take ages.

(The quest begins!)

I seem to be straitjacketed in a bed. What to do?

Hmm, looks like I'm in some sort of hospial room? There is a camera and a television. I can't make out what is on the table. The door does not seem to have a handle.

>>369537
I'm pretty sure that straitjackets are designed not release their victims that easily. I can still walk around though, as it doesn't restrict my legs.

>>369467
Well, what can go wrong?
"NURSE!"

A calm voice speaks. "Hello Ibos. I see you've woken up." Suddenly it turns angry, "Ya little brat. Though you could muscle me out of MY OWN CITY!? Well too bad! I hope you like your new home."

The TV turns on. Damn. The old Johnson Psychiatric Hospital. Where have I seen this before...? Shoot. Right. I slated it for demolition on Dec 3. And I'm in it. With the way my luck is going. Today is Dec. 3, isn't it?

"Don't worry Ibos, your demolition order didn't get to your henchmen."

Phew.

"Mine did"

Damn.

I should probably find a way out.

It looks like I am on the third floor. I can see some stairs going down a hill, as well as a small tree. The ground next to the building seems to have a lot of barbed wire...

Okay, first order of business, headbutt the camera into inoperability.

Once that's done, check the table and under the bed. It'll be a pain in the ass, but see if you can use the corner of the table or the bedframe to pry open the straps on the straightjacket.

>Take down camera

I headbutt that camera like a boss! Success! I knew all that soccer practice would come in handy some day in the future.

Suddenly, the voice taunts me “Ooh, so tough aren’t we? Strong enough to take down a camera that was taped to the ceiling.”

>Undo straitjacket

Ok, now onto this straitjacket. Let’s see... Hmm. AHA! One lone corner is protruding. So, undo the straps... Uh, I think that goes though that, and that goes around, and under. Excellent! I have succeeded in undoing - who am I kidding. I am now the proud owner of a jacket that is now in tatters.

It is just some scrap from a notebook. I can make out some of the writing “Remember to get those straitjackets from that sale down on 11th, they are too good of a deal to miss. Also remember to change that lock on the” the page ends there.

>Look at table
On to the table! As I suspected. A cleaver, a scalpel, and one half of a pair of scissors (would that make it a scissor?) sit on a tray. To its right, lies a suspicious key. Something tells me that I shouldn’t take that. And a OH MAH GOD! YES! I always wanted one of those. Nothing beats the Lozot 2-22 E series! This thing is capable of non-recoil continuous 180 round per minute firing. And it also has that new gun smell too!

It also looks like someone tried to write a message on the wall with, some strange liquid that has dried. I should hurry, the clock is ticking down quickly. Only 6 minutes left!

I should also note here that I can carry two things (one in each hand) as I have no pockets. What should I take?
>>

Something looks like it might be up with the table leg. Check under the table for traps.

Cleaver, scissor, scalpel, and key in your off-hand. Gun in your primary hand.

If you can't do that then you're beyond hope.

Shoot the window and jump out. Fuck gravity.
>>
No. 370200 ID: dd5faa

The message on the wall must have supposed to been "There is no exile." We've been put in a totalitarian society, and need to find a way to collapse it and free everyone.

Check the gun for bullets, if present, +1 the window thing.
>>
No. 370202 ID: dd5faa

Grab gun and scalpel, use gun to shoot through the deadbolts. Use scalpel to kill enemies with style. If gun has no bullets, use as threat
>>
No. 370247 ID: dd5faa

I look for a power outlet. If I find one, I use the key and the cleaver to create a short, thus blowing out the fuse in this section of the building. Using the cover of darkness, I shoot out the lock and burst out the door.

>Grab items on table
Done. (Ask for inventory to display it)

>Check for bullets
This gun doesn’t use bullets, it’s a proof-of-concept gun that fires lasers. I think it has around 100 shots before its compact nuclear reactor depletes its fuel.

>Investigate oddity on table leg
Its only a FRIENDLY RADIOACTIVE SPIDER.

BOOM!

Oh look, how convenient - a way out! The arrow pointing to the right is unlabeled, it could lead me to some room deeper into the complex or to the nearest exit. What will it be, go right or left?
>>

Completely ignore the spider as gaining radioactive spider powers would be entirely useless toward solving our problems and should never be thought about again.

You saw where the corner of the building is. Follow the corridor that hugs the outside as much as possible. Hopefully you can find stairs or a map.

>half-assed security, table of equipment all laid out for us.

This isn't suspicious at all!

Anyway, any large medical facility of this sort should have exit signs in all hallways for precisely the purpose of simplifying escape in an emergency. Look for one of those; if it's not visible, go to the nearest corner and repeat, favoring larger hallways.
