That's not the real issue here, we can figure out how to get the hell out of here after we deal with this problem.

Our people are not what you can call... happy. We used to live in a meadow with clear skies and enough food you could make a tower out of it and poke the moons in the eyes! ... anyways, we all woke up one day here, in a little dark cave 10 years ago so the change hit some of our guys a bit too hard. I mean it's not so bad once you get used t- ok, gotta focus here Tero, focus!

We've always have tried to find was to get out: magic, digging, fire, digging UP... nothing works, it's all a infinite number of weird giant corpses all around us, thou light crackles by in some places somehow.

Some of us have completely given up and decide to shackle inside their houses or go suicidal and whatnot. The thing is that it's pretty hard for us to die: as long as someone remember someone else, that person can come back. Don't ask we how we do it, it just kinda happens with us.

Anyways, me and the other self-appointed guards manage to convince them to come back after a while. We couldn't do it without Atela, she's like the den mother or something, everyone listens to her!

If you ask why we needed guards in the first place, sometimes monsters squirm trough the cracks and attack. Sure it's kinda pointless since we just come back but dammit, it hurts like a bitch when you get chewed by thousands of tiny mouths!

The reason we are asking for help is that, somehow, someone is making us disappear.

At first we didn't mind, we thought "Bah, Jakena will comeback in 10 minutes, incineration doesn't do it for him anymore" but then, more and more started vanishing and not coming back. After months of searching for a reason, we got an answer.

Something that called itself Torchead, beacon of truth. Silly name no?

We find out after one boy, named Denja, came running to us, saying this weird guy promised him and his brother Danje a way out of the mountain.

"Freedom from this cage your kind was put in" as he said.

Danje agreed, saying he was tired of living under the mountain. After that Torchead touched him in the head and like that, he vanished. Denja ran to us immediately after.

We have seen him many times after that, but we can never catch him and more and more of us are giving in to his way out.

Atela and the others have been placing traps in the edges of the cave and investigating the tunnels and shafts that keep popping up around town and they left me to guard the town.

I'll admit, I have no idea what to do. I'm good as a guard and nothing else, sadly. More and more of us keep vanishing and I can't do this on my own...

Whoever hears this, this is my plea: help me stop Torchead from taking us all away.

you must trick him, with yourself as the bait. when he comes and asks if you wish to leave, agree, and when he reaches out his hand, you strike, swift and true.

I can perform a bit of magic but I only really have 3 spells I really get use of: A spell that let's me carry any ammount of things in my body as long as they aren't bigger or heavier thAn me, a spell that let's me get near enemies (well, it's more like reeling them in more then me going to them, but i get close enough to hit things)and a shield spell that lets me take more hits. A LOT more hits then I really should be able to.

... wait, the wind really is going to help me? AWESOME!


What should we do first, thou? We can check around town to get you Mr. Wind used to the place, we can go to the edge tunnels to let Atela met you or we can try looking around the places Torchead was last seen. Or do you have something else in mind?

a breakdown of what species live in your town would be nice. also could you tell us a bit more about life before the cave? especially about any gods or demons your people worshiped/feared, and the structure of the afterlife.

oh and something your should know, your not talking to a single individual, or even a static group of individuals. we are a collective of individuals with members coming and going more or less at random. also just a heads up, some of use are crazy.

Ok, here's more or less how our town is.
Small but we got everything we need close enough, the important things are:

-the Farm takes care of all food related business, from farming to rationing and preparing the food. They ring the bell to announce meals, usually twice a day.

-the Armory deals with all weapons and armor, they have a forge inside so if we bring them enough stuff they can make us new weapons.

- the tower are magic defense systems that cast a shield in the nearby buildings when monsters attack, shooting lighting at them while rotating. They need at least 3 operators to work.

-the Town Hall is the headquarters for all guardians and where Detrano plans most of our big moves. It also doubles as library and takes care of all magic related business.

Species? Um, well, we are divided on 4 kinds of beings here: Mana, Tena, Bura and Gora.

Mana are light and fragile guys, they are very fast and can fly endlessly. They are good with magic.

Tena, well, we are sturdy but slow guys, strong too! We can't use much magic, prefering to stick to physical attacks.

Bura are the weakes guys we have, atleast physically. They are the best around when it comes to magic, healing or attack magic.

Gora are the balanced guys: average at everything except when it comes to spiritual matters. With enough time they become the strongest guys we can have but there aren't many around.

Gods and Demons? Um, there was Vanutren of The Thousand Arms but he always with us before we woke up here. As demons go, we had some enemies but they where vanquished once Vanutren became our leader.

Afterlife? Well, if there is one, we don't know it. Well, Vanutren knew but he said it was more like a loop that twists and bundles apart and... Maybe Detrano can explain it better than me.

Hmm. I have noticed that on the map, the monsters come from one direction. Has anyone attempted to see where they are coming from?

The afterlife vaguely sounds like a system of rebirth.

has anyone tried to call back the spirits of any of the giant monsters? perhaps see how they died or something.

there are two peopel on the roof behind you, looks like a mana and a tenna, its hard to tell from here but it looks like they might be fighting
