Hello.
My name is Izusu, or Michelle, or just Izu for short.

I'm an ordinary 15 year old girl, currently in St. Lucy High School.I dream of being a writer someday.

In a good part of my life, I was really bullied by my classmates because of my shy and passive behavior.

It really hurt when they slammed my hand in a door...

But, as my therapist always says, the pain goes away when there's other feelings blocking it.

So, you will help me achieve that other feeling I chose...

I hear a suprised squeak, and footsteps quickly going away.

When I look through the window, Girl!Sam is standing in front of the door, staring at me.Boy!Sam disappeared.

>>"A girl...? I'm sorry, Ms.Girl, my big bro gets scared real easy."

"Oh, no problem at all..."

>>"Ms.Girl, what are you doing here...?Why did you break the glass?"

"Well..."

"I'm locked in and I needed help, I thought I'd have to yell down the hallway or something so I broke the window. Do you know what time it is? Do you have a cellphone I could use? Also, could you go find the janitor or another adult?"

Knowing what time it is isn't going to help right now, that can come later. Those two don't look or sound very reliable, so the first thing you should ask them is to find an adult (Or if they have a cellphone, call an adult.) There's no point in not telling them what happened, at this point it can only help you. Also you need to know where you are.

(Example of what you might say.)
"Somebody knocked me unconcious, and when I woke up I was in this room. The door was locked and I needed to get out, this was the only way. Where am I?...Do you have a cellphone? Can you call for help, or go find someone who can help?"

Naw, if they know that we got knocked out they might get scared off or think they'll catch flak for helping us.
>>

>>282777
That's ridiculous.
Izusu is obviously the victim, no child I know would be scared off by a victim.
And if they are truly scared off by Izu stating that she was knocked unconcious, their probably not going to be any help at all.

I meant scared off in the "I helped the victim, so the bullies are now after me because of it" way.

I highly doubt any child would come to that assumption, but I guess it's all up to the personality of the kid in question. But let's suppose that they DID see it that way. I doubt they would just leave her there, banishing her to whatever fate she may have. That's not something I would do, even when I was a kid. Not something YOU would do. I doubt anybody would do that.

Despite common assumption, children aren't stupid. Telling them "you can't help, go get someone else" will only result in them wondering off out of spite. Explain what you want them to do, then if they can't then they'll go get someone themselves.

So they removed the battery? Possible fingerprints~

>>282766
Tell her somebody attacked you and locked you in here, and that you really need to get out because you just want to go home.
Don't tell her to go get help. She'll think of that on her own, and she'll feel better about helping you because she'll think she's already started helping you anyway.
>>
No. 282811 ID: 692e92

Yes, obviously, not asking for help when you're locked in a room is the most logical course of action...

The persons in question is almost guranteed not to know where the key is. And most likely the key is in a janitors closet that is locked.

Your method is just prolonging the problem.

Whoa, Little X.You're making me confused.More than I already am, I mean.

>>282772
What do you mean? The time is obviously important! If I was out for too long, they could notice my absence, as Dan saw me earlier! My parents, overdramatic as they are, would absolutely panic and it would be chaos!

>>282808
Hey, good thinking.I know how to extract some fingerprints with a powder that Mom uses to lubricate something in the car.I can ask her later and it's done.

"I'm trapped in here and need to get out.I need to go home.Could you please help me?"

The girl gasps.

I also don'y see any reason to lie. If I say I can't remember anything, it's probable that she will suspect me of doing something wrong in here. But I cry anyway.

"S-some bullies knocked me out and put me in here..."

This shocks her. I think she was indeed thinking that I was doing something against the rules.

>>"B-b-but that's so terrible! These bullies are so cruel! You were going to starve here if we didn't find you!"

"Y-y-yeah...thank God you heard me. But...how is your brother going to be any help...?"

>>"Hm? Ah, well. We found a card earlier. It looked like it belongs to some boy in the school. The name was...Daniel? Well, whatever it was, Sam knows how to unlock a door with a card. Just like in the movies!"

Dan's card? Didn't Julia take it?
>>
No. 283038 ID: 692e92

Asking to have it back might cause some suspicion...

And hurray, you're (almost) freedom at last!

You also might want to ask them where they found the card.
>>
No. 283058 ID: c71597

>>283021
You can probably get the card back. Tell them you know Daniel and you can take it to him. Which you should probably do, since it can't be used to tie him to crime scenes if they know you have it. And killing them to keep that a secret would just lead to an annoyingly high stack of corpses.

Oh yeah, you cam also ask them what such young kids are doing in this school.
>>
No. 283071 ID: 492153

Tell them you were holding it for him and thought the bullies got too it.
Ask if they can let you out.
>>
No. 283083 ID: 54af1f

How's the door look like it opens? If it needs a key you probably need to send them to hunt for it, but you can likely get Dan's card back out of the deal...

. . . 9 to 1 says you find the body of the person who took it stuffed into a dumpster outside, so you might want to ask where they got it from.

I think it doesn't hurt to ask about the card.

"Was the name Daniel Henley?"

She smiles, a bit surprised.

>>"Yes! Something like that! Do you know him? Was he one of your bullies?"

Heh.

"Oh, no, no. He's a classmate of mine, and I was holding on to it since he dropped it in the park. The bullies said stole it from me."

>> "Weird. This card was on the first floor, on stuck on the front door with some duct tape."

What...?

Seems like a weird thing to do. Anyway, ask her for it and tell her that you will make sure he gets it back.

Yes, that's weird. But we can think about that later.

I hear some footsteps coming closer. I eventually see Boy!Sam coming from the dark stairway. Girl!Sam smirks when she notices his presence.

>>"Oh, if it isn't my ultra-brave big bro, Samuel! I don't know what I would do without his help! I would have been killed by the monster!"

The little boy laughs nervously.

>> "Hahahaha...there was no monster, right, Samantha?"

>> "I think not, Sammy, I think not."

>> "Bugger."

I interrupt them politely. They're cute, but I kinda want to get out.

"I'm sorry if I scared you, Samuel. I'm Michelle Stevenson and I was locked here by bullies."

Both twins look at me, waiting for me to continue.

"...There's something I want to know: You're too young for high school, aren't you?"

Samuel looks at his sister, and then at me.

>> "Well, we are 12 years old. Our Mom, Chloe A.Evans, is the principal in this school, and our father died when we were little, so we stay here when she's working."
>>
No. 283117 ID: 915014

>>283113
Shouldn't they be in school themselves and then head home when she's working? Anyway, that's not very important. Except as possible blackmail material at a later time.

You should probably see if they want to tag along with you while you hand back the card at some sort of lost and found desk.

Then it should be safe to go to the appropriate class and attend. See what reactions people might have to your showing up and stuff like that.

They're the principal kids, maybe you could use them to get useful information or even acess special areas... But remeber to USE the kids, make them think that is what they want to do, that way if you get caught you were merely taking care of the two lonely kids

Yeah, no mother in her right mind would let her children play in an abandoned building, but that's a story for later. If I get in their bad side, there is a chance that they'll just leave me here.

>> "Sam, can you use that card we found earlier to help Ms. Girl here? The card is her friend's, so if it breaks, we can blame it all on her."

...Ouch.

Samuel nods and gets to work. He looks really determined to look like a TV hero. I just hope he doesn't screw up.

((A very faint, kind of distant beeping sound echoes through the corridor.))

We hear a click coming from the door.

CARD PIECE obtained. I don't even know if it'll serve me any purpose, but when all you have is a bunch of books and an incomplete cell phone, you better take anything you get.

...

Ritche always said that microwave-sounding 'ding' ruined the mood.

He never told me who was the guy who received all of his prototypes and projects, but being locked by a gadget the one who taught me everything about mystery novels invented... feels like a backstab.

I don't like it. One bit.

Hmph. Door is still locked. I just know that the lock was made to be unlocked only via digital code. Ritchie said it was going to be useful to store his gadgets and weaponry. I don't think he had time to plan a stronger lock, so he must have left behind the project for a weak one.

So I'll have to resort to violence and destroy his precious project. I won't complain, because it wasn't him who locked me here with it, and I want to know WHO did.

(Also, it will be a nice way to relieve stress.)

I distract the kids by asking for a cell phone. They say they'll go and find Samantha's in their room.

Better not have them around when the show starts.

Oh, just in case. Your excuse in case this was an elaborate set up, is that you got locked in by accident, got help, saw a spider or something similarly generic 'fear of it', it freaked you out (so yell as you kick) and you panicked your way out of the room. Its generic, but it stops you from being flat footed if someone asks you immediately.
