I think I might be able to escape this town. It's night, so almost everyone is asleep. The only people I have to look out for is the night watch. I think it has 40 or so people. Can you help me?

No not you. Everyone else. What spells can you cast? How big are your mana reserves? Anything for concealment, darkness, blindness or invisibility? The night watch should have shifts to check on each other. You can sneak past them when they meet together for the changing of the guard. You can also disable one of the watch and escape if you do it right after they meet so nobody realizes a watchman is missing until you're gone.

No one else thinks that. They say she's just annoying and stares at people until she gets what she wants. I have enough mana to cast Torment twice before I run out. Mary Shaw never taught me any debuffs or anything like that. Only attacking, which is stupid. I probably won't be able to do it good at all.

I haven't memorized the routes they take on the night watch. Mary Shaw doesn't let me out of her tower after dinner. I quietly get out of bed and start heading toward the door to the stairs.

When you get outside stay away from the roads. Avoid making noise at all costs, but you can go across people's property if it won't make noise. Shadows are your friend.

We'll have to teach you something worthwhile sometime if Mary Shaw isn't going to. If you run into any people, use Freeze immediately. Mary can dispel it later but by that time you'll be long gone. That way nobody can sound the alarm (hopefully).

How does Mary Shaw normally keep you from leaving the tower now? If she doesn't actually stop you, you might want to spend a few days to learn the watch's patterns. If not though, nobody's going to make you out in the cover of darkness until they get close enough for you to Freeze them.

Okay, I got it. And Mary Shaw has someone guard door at night. I've never tried to escape here more than twice. Once the door guard caught me. The other time, I got to the front gate, but there were 2 people standing near there, so I couldn't escape. I don't know what to do with them.

I slowly make my way down the stairs, making sure I'm not making any noise. When I make it down the stairs, I quietly creep to the door. Since there's a person at the other side of this door, how should I go about doing this? If I fail at this, I'm going to have to try tomorrow. I don't want to wait another day doing stupid sfuff.
