Vesta opens the letter which she was unaware she even had.

Vesta,
I'm sorry it had to be this way. When one finds themself punishing someone, an other may get caught up in the punishment. That other would be you, Vesta.

Yes, some sacrifices have to be made and yes, you are that sacrifice. You're my sacrificial lamb! Hah! That's a good one. You'd appreciate it if you weren't you who is going to die shortly.

This other envelope is for him. Don't read it, or you'll justify my putting you down here. Which is nothing personal, by the way. It's just you moved into his old house and, well I guess it is a little personal. A shame.

And if you're wondering, by the time you read this, you would have met him and I'm guessing you have like 2 minutes left to live now so just count from 120 and it should all work out.

So long, Vesta.

(illegible scribble)

P.S. You see the joke is that you're a sheep and you know lambs are young sheep nevermind

Why, that's not good at all.

The next challenge is revealed.
To Bob's left, the way he came in.
To Bob's back, a nondescript flat wall with no importance whatsoever.
To Bob's right, a large door with no obvious way of opening. Next to the door, a large wire travels from the top of the door town and makes it way to the other side of the room.
To Bob's front, there is a large wall with a series of squares and wires on them. To the left of that, there's a wire that appears to travel to a powerbox or some shit.

Yeah, it looks like it's that time again. Time for some more weird puzzle shit.

Next to Bob is some sort of pedastal. It has 25 buttons, each connected to a number. Also there's a note there.

Awww yeah. This is it.

The note reads:
"Well Bob, if you made it this far maybe you deserve to leave.

This is simple. Just get the power through the wires and to the door, and you'll be home free. Hell, I'd reward you if can make it.

By now though you've probably got scant seconds to live so enjoy dying alone I guess."

Bob gets ready to figure shit out.

(So here's the thing. You need one solid connection from the topleft-most square to the bottomright-most square. There is at least one correct answer, but due to the nature of the puzzle, there may be other connections that work out too. I hope you like pipedream! The colours mean nothing: they just make it easier to see which wires are different from what.

While you work out a solid connnection, I'll just update as fast as I can, taking an arbitrary amount of time off the timer. Type out the numbers once you get the answer right and YOU'LL MOVE ON. Good luck!)

Moisture causes the fibers of the cloth to swell, resulting in more friction and thus less tearing. It's not a completely silly thing to do...

Wasn't there a gap at the top of the cell door that she could fit through? You could out your hands through the bars, and cup them together to give her a boost up. Possibly while standing on the chair.

Well at any rate there might not be any way to get her out. In that case, let's go to the ladder and find someone who DOES have a way to get her out. Or maybe the key is at the top of the ladder!

It took about twenty seconds to run down that corridor. I doubt climbing the ladder will be fast---let's call it ten seconds. That's thirty there, thirty back here, and thirty away again.

I'm not saying we shouldn't do that, just pointing out that it'd only leave five seconds for actually doing anything at that end. And assuming that the top of the ladder is a safe place to be when the bomb goes off.
