*You awake, so duly trapped; tied upside down, with a strong pain in the back of your head. The last thing you recall is spending too much money on too much booze at a local tavern.*

Take it away, folks.

Those sharp implements look rather worrying. Look up (or well down) to see how the feet are tied to whatever is suspending us.

Start wriggling around and swinging around to make the ropes slip off the hook. It will probably hurt like a bitch, but it's better than having some madman slith your throat and collect your blood for some odd reason.

that actually is a good thing, if you are leaking then inter-cranial pressure wont build to critical lvls.

Eh, releasing the pressure by opening a superficial blood vessel?

Anyway, make jerking movements/ contract your body, so the rope gets off the hook on the ceiling or the hook is wrenched out off the material.

Be careful when you fall down.

*After slaying the masked man, Wenz decides to lay the items he has in the room out.

Cleaver - Heavy but rather sharp instrument. Useful for chopping bones.
Hook Knife - There are two of these, one was taken from the dead masked man. Great for trapping weapons and body parts.
Ceiling Hook - Was used to anchor Wenz to the ceiling. Not a good weapon.
Scalpel - Extraordinarily sharp, and meticulously engraved.
Scissors - They don't seem to be used for paper or cloth...perhaps flesh?
Length of Cord - This was the first length of cord; Wenz managed to keep mostly intact. Able to easily hold his weight. Since the masked man is now very dead, he decided to untie him.
Bits of Cord - Due to his hurried slashing, this cord was sundered into a dozen or so small strips; about a foot long.
Strange Mask - This mask is something unique, and Wenz can't tell how it works or what it does a first glance.
Strange Fluid - Smells Acrid and Chemical.*

Quick question, how able are you at dual-wielding weapons? 'cause if we had to just pick two pieces of sharp metal, I'd go with the cleaver for your main hand, and a hook for your off hand. Use the hook to parry and create openings to exploit with the cleaver.

If we had to take only one weapon, I'd say to go with a hook.

For what to do... Hrm. Well, we don't know what the potion does, so it's of dubious use currently. I'd -like- to bring it along, but hrm. As for the mask... ...Yeah, no frickin' clue, take a closer look at it before I make a call on it, but I'm currently leaning towards thinking something not-nice would happen if you put it on. I get the impression magic isn't a very positive thing where you're from.

Perhaps we could tier off a portion of our shirt sleeve or something, and use it as a makeshift stopper, or tie it over the top, or something else to make sure it doesn't spill if we also hang it off the makeshift belt? ...Would it even be possible to put it on the belt, considering it's glass?
