Yeesh... you awaken from your impromptu slumber- lost, confused, and groggy as all hell.. the events that brought you here are an utter blur.. and figuring them out might not be easy.

Is this an escape the facility type quest? classic!

Read the note on the wall, and check the back of the note.

You stand up and read the note in question. Seems like some one's looking out for you... in their own special way.

"Well, you got what you wanted. The real world's after this first challenge, but I'll have to test if you actually know how to be useful. I'll be waiting for you on the outside- you can touch the sigil I've placed on the wall to step out... the rest after that is a bit harder. Don't forget what I've taught you. -- Seeker"

Examine 4th wall
Check behind where the note was
Check your pockets (if you have pockets or shoes or anything)

You were taught something you forgot by someone called a seeker, so seek out stuff before you hit that ol rune thing

Awww man, you forgot.

Anything south of us? If not, touch the Sigil, but keep the paper with you. Never know when you'll need an emergency paper airplane.

A series of extra notes is on the back, detailing some basic information on something.... peculiar. A bunch of these shapes look familiar. There's also a piece of chalk on the back.

"The center is key- the edges are supplemental. As long as you can draw, you'll be fine. I'll teach you the rest later."

You remember the Evocation circle.
You learn the Key, Scan, and [b]Magic Spark[/i] components.

The south wall's empty, with nothin' on, in, or around it. Whatever stashed you in here definitely didn't plan on getting you out... so how'd this little sigil get there?

Also, you have no pockets. All items you pick up enter your natural hammerspace, an inexplicable abstraction of the universe that you just so happen to own. How you pull things out of it; no one knows.

This hammerspace is also empty. For the time being.

Become item, and go inside your hammerspace.

Actually, no. Touch the sigil
>>
No. 1014980 ID: e51896

And put note in hammerspace

store note, draw an evocation circle with scan on it on one of the floorboards, I'd say magic spark it but I dont wanna put you in death.

actually maybe see if you can look through the floorboards first?

You use some Mana and some Drawing Material in order to perform your first bout of runic magic... it works a little differently than expected. The rune allows you view through the circle- in this case, a medium sized circle gives you a.. middling viewport.

You step outside of the room, and the pathway outside curves a little bit, with a dude at the end. He doesn't seem to notice your presence, nor the passage way behind him.

>>1014999
Mana recharges overtime, but can be restored via consuming and using specific items. Drawing material can be restored by anything that can be used to draw on the ground, or on parchment- chalk, dirt, ink.. there are other options, but they depend. Certain materials may give you other (dis)advantages in mana cost.

Roll a d20 to determine how well that goes through..
>>1015039
You use the neatly placed sigil on the note in order to work- luckily, it goes through. Just make sure you don't rip it.
