Perish will be answering your questions now. Or commentary. Or really just whatever that you want to talk about without cluttering up the main thread with background info.

Let's start here.

>Are the Poké Centers dead?
No.

>How rare is ammo?
Uncommon, but not rare.

>Will Pokémon in pokéballs bleed out?
No, but they will die if they faint in an unforgiving atmosphere. Like this one. Because the air is literally toxic. The guy's wearing a gas mask for a reason. Literally breathing here will inflict the status condition Poison, and you will die before you can even get back to town. But most of the world is like this. Just... not specifically Poison, everywhere. I'm fine because I'm a Steel type. A Poison atmosphere like this one is classified as "unforgiving" to anything but Bug, Poison, and Steel types. So those three types will be fine, but anything else will die if it faints outside that dome.

>Can you steal Pokémon souls?
No.

>How much damage does a gun do to hardened types of Pokémon, like steel-tipped bullets versus rock types?
Bullets normally do Normal-type damage, so it's... not great.

>Can we purchase elemental ammo to deal with special types of Pokémon?
I don't know. I've never seen a gun shoot elemental ammo before, but I guess it's probably not out of the question. Ha! Haha! You could have a Water Gun! Oh, that'd be great.

>And will you PLEASE LEARN MORE THAN FOUR MOVES?! With all those souls you can relegate move duties to your voices!
That's. Not how that works. And I don't learn any more moves through level up anyway.

>Odd, you'd think he'd have read the Pokedex entry and warning...
You would think!

>Oh and just curious but say this guys somehow lives through this whole thing and we go on a glorious adventure that's talked about for ages, would we just let him go with no memories or something and just leave him confused as fuck to what just happened or what? can we even let him go if we wanted to?
He’ll remember everything that happens until he dies. He doesn’t have a soul, but he does still have a mind and awareness of his situation, and his own personal autonomy if I allow him to. If he releases me after a grand adventure, he gets his life back until he dies, at which point his soul joins your collective.

>So does he need to keep holding you now? That could get inconvenient in a lot of situations, especially if he is right hand dominant.
>what happens if someone wants you to get dropped- most people don't exactly care for a dude swinging a sword around in the open, ESPECIALLY not in towns. what's your gameplan for that kinda situation?
He grabbed my scabbard, too, so he can sheath me at any time. I don’t actually need to keep my sash wrapped around him. I just think it looks cooler that way. Shows who’s in charge, you know? But I guess if he has to like, drop me or something, I can do my slight levitation thing and follow him around. If absolutely necessary for my survival, he is technically my trainer now, so he can put me in a Pokéball if things get bad.

>is giving souls back something you can do?
Not really. Stealing them is basically just instinct anyway; when somebody touches you in a way you’re not comfortable with, your first response might be to hit them. This is basically our species-wide equivalent. A defense mechanism, I guess. And having them isn’t that bad anyway. Helps with decisionmaking a lot of the time and makes me feel more influential, so I’m not complaining.

Would he be able to tell you why he grabbed you, if you asked?

Have you seen ITQ? It's pretty handy for questions if you're so inclined. Background info and mechanics are very nice and relevant, though.

so... what would happen if you evolved? You'd just get stronger or would other things also happen?

I mean, yeah, but given the memory scan I doubt it's anything more in-depth than "I am the hero and I need a magic sword to save the town."

>>98427
Just stronger. I'm not really interested, besides. I don't want to have three bodies to worry about instead of two.
...If I do though, I'll call the other sword Stabs, since so many people wanted that to be my name.

I've seen it but I wasn't exactly sure how it worked, whether we just kind of showed up and said we were open for questions or what.

That's pretty much how it works. You just jump right in and start answering questions (open-ended ones or those directed at you) with your questee.
