I think it's time to get to know some of the quest cast better! This is an exercise that can help you get a bead on both their appearance and their personality, and in so doing, help train your ability to reliably draw a given character. What better approach could there be? I posit there is none.

Remember, just the faces!

The BeakieHelmet one made me immediately think Rand, actually...

...who isn't even on it that I can see. 36 squares clearly just aren't enough. We need to wrap this sucker around a hypercube.

No, wait, it's been shuffled, yes he is. Wait, why the fuck am I on this now? I don't even have a consistent style.

Doing this row by row. Probably one every day or two. (If that'd be considered spamming, let me know and I'll wait to post em until the whole thing is done, then I'll post that huge bundle of 26 squares.)

If I could be completely honest, the only resemblance to Rottel's style that has is full-width binary tool.

For the most part though those are really good!

If it requires careful examination to find the semen then it's not a very accurate copy of Bite's style.

This was actually really hard to do with Sekani, since not a lot of folks draw birds. I may end up using a different character for each row, or power through them all with Sekani for the challenge.

My number one goal was making it so they don't all look the same, and hopefully I at least managed that!

...Well yeah I guess so. But it's a bit difficult on a white canvas, I don't have the jizz drawing skills in my whole body that Bite has in his one pinky finger :V

Anyway thanks guys, I feel kinda bad about spamming so the next one will be all 36.
>>354273
No, they look good! On using different characters: on the one hand you don't have to do the style meme multiple times, bit on the other hand the /point/ is to be a reflection/comparison of sorts, so if you got a lot of time you wanna dedicate to it I say do the whole thing with one character (then again with another). Otherwise no hahaha

Honestly, the only nits I can pick is that the Weaver one has lines which are too thick and vary in thickness too much, and the Slowpoke is a bit too blended and clean, because he mostly seems to use one level of shade and lots of big 'sloppy' flats. That's pretty much it. Two nitpicks in 36 cells.

hm, it's really interesting to see which aspects of each person's style you decided to pull! this is cool

also i think a fun variation on this style thing would be to have a similar grid thing but with each square labeled for a quest protagonist, then you go through and draw them in your own style. i don't really read enough quests to make a good version of that myself, though
