What quests do you dislike?

I'm curious.

I'll take quest authors for two hundred.

>What quest do you run, or have run?
Tiffany the Necromancer, Mu's Journey, Tales of the Fae, Fursecution NOW, Dumy-quest, that giant space crab thing, Night, Rookie Quest and The Traveller.
At least I think that's it. Did I do any others? I forget.

>What Quests do you read actively? (Watch for updates, open thread, suggest often)
>What quests do you read passively? (Read updates from the frontpage, occaisionally suggest)
I'll just combine these to "What Quests do you read?"
Very few. I love Brom's stuff, but I'm a little bit behind at the moment so I'm reading the archives. I'm also a bit behind on Muschio. Jukashi is also one of the really good ones.
Beyond that I mostly just browse quests. I guess I look for good art as well as good writing.
I gotta say I had soft spot for Reaver, I liked his quests. I can live with the occasional trolling :3 Here's to hoping he'll be back.

>What quests do you not read?
The ones not mentioned?

>What quests do you hide?
None, looking at em doesn't bother me.

>What quests do you run
...We have a wiki for this? You can look up quests by author you know. Here, I'll share mine: http://tgchan.org/wiki/Gnome

>What Quests do you read?
Herbert v Happiness, Tory's Tower, Tozol Quest... And that's it, for things that update with any regularity. I read a lot of other things, but they haven't updated recently. I haven't read very many new quests, primarily because a lot of them seem to die in a week or two and also because I get distracted easily.

>What quests do you hide?
Hiding threads is the stupidest thing. I do not do it.

>What quest do you run, or have run?
The original Sue, LIAR, Vapor, TIAS, Home, some other stuff.

>What quests do you read actively?
A lot of them. Probably more than I can name reliably.

>What quests do you read passively?
Again, it'd be much easier to list the stuff I don't read.

>What quests do you not read?
Golem, that spinoff one from Golem, handful of other things. Usually it's pretty uncommon for me to straight-up not read a quest at all (although I might not suggest).

>What quests do you hide?
Golem. Not out of spite but just because it takes up a lot of space on the board otherwise.

>What quest do you run, or have run?
Just some shitty abortions that I lacked the dedication to make into something good.
>What Quests do you read actively? (Watch for updates, open thread, suggest often)
Tiffany, EDF, all of Brom's stuff, Dive. I'm probably forgetting some.
>What quests do you read passively? (Read updates from the frontpage, occaisionally suggest)
Um.
Gnoll's stuff. Jukashi's stuff. Sourg Rapes, I guess. I'm probably forgetting something again.
>What quests do you not read?
Most of them.
>What quests do you hide?
None of them.

>What quests do you dislike?
None. Some I just don't find interesting enough to invest time in.
>What quests have you saged?
I know how to use sage properly, as do most of us here, and I thus have not used sage in /quest/.
>Has any quest ever evoked an actual emotional response from you?
Sure.
>If so, which, and when (remember spoilers) ?
Tiffany stands out here, because of horrible horrible things happening. It also gives a good sense of accomplishment when domething actually works well.
For a sort of a "fuck yea" feeling, EDF is pretty up there as well.
>Do you have a character you really like?
Not really. Some are more interesting than others, but that's mostly a function of how important they are.
>Dislike?
Nah. Some are uninteresting, but that's the worst of it.

>What quests do you run, or have run?
The End and The Icon. Two 'joke' quests I have run were Valentine's Day Quest and Antisex Quest
>What Quests do you read actively? (Watch for updates, open thread, suggest often)
I don't really read actively, I sorta just read up on all the ones I follow at once.
>What quests do you read passively? (Read updates from the frontpage, occaisionally suggest)
Brom's quests, Weaver's, Bite's, Slowpoke's, Seal's and some other assorted ones I can't remember off the top of my head right now. I admit I don't suggest much and I probably should do it more.
>What quests do you not read?
Most of them
What quests do you hide?
The ones I have given a chance to at least skim through and found that they were not to my liking. I personally do not understand the bitterness people have to hiding quests. Are you not allowed to dislike something? Hiding clears the stuff you know you will never look at and makes navigating the pages much easier, and it's not insulting anyone unless you want to rub it in their faces (which I am blatantly doing right now)
>What quests do you dislike?
I'm picky about what genres and artstyles I like, and thus I have a tendency to ignore perfectly functional quests I find boring or repulsive. I don't actively 'dislike' those quests though, if you want me to actually hate your quests then just be an attention whore about it.
>What quests have you saged?
What kind of dolt sages quests?
>Has any quest ever evoked an actual emotional response from you?
Most quests I like have characters I emotionally respond to.
>If so, which, and when (remember spoilers) ?
The trials and tribulations Brom puts his main characters through elicit the strongest responses from me, except for *some* of his romances, which I feel are a little awkward and difficult to connect to. Maybe that's because I am a heartless bastard.
>Do you have a character you really like?
Virtually all the main characters of the quests I read I like. Also motherfuckin' fGhost.
>Dislike?
I'm a judgmental, bitter asshole and I have been known to dislike characters because I personally think look or act stupid, even if they were otherwise well written.

>What Quests do you read actively? (Watch for updates, open thread, suggest often)
Current ones? ColonyGuard, Pinkskin, Fortune's Call, CBSF, whatever quest Seal is currently updating, Island of Onigashima and Riarda Legends, there's a lot, I don't remember.

Oh, uh, the above. I really should read these questions before answering them.

>What quests do you not read?
A LOT. Every text quest, mostly.

Golem, Lost Planet, Origination, The Sword, lots of quests. Basically any quest I don't have at least a little bit of interest in, but it doesn't necessarily mean the quest is bad.

Currently running: Through the Chaos Once More, The Cage, Bungee Grapple Adventures.
Shelved and awaiting a new thread: Resonance, Defective.
Finished: Infiltration, Before, Ten Updates, Through the Chaos, Beneath a Red Sky.
Abandoned completely: Abyss.

>What Quests do you read actively? (Watch for updates, open thread, suggest often)
Well, I don't tend to suggest because I always suggest bad things. And more worryingly my bad suggestions tend to get massive support out of nowhere. I'll interpret this as "which quests will I postpone sleep for if it looks like there's going to be an update within the hour".

...And checking the catalogue, there aren't even those any more. They all ended. Dammit. (It's not that I dislike you, other quests, I just liked other quests more! D: )

>What quests do you read passively? (Read updates from the front page, occasionally suggest)

Lost Planet (still giving it a chance because early days but eeeesh it's on unstable ground right now), Bubble Bucket, Island of Onigashima, Sammy's Adventure, Abberration, Dive, Ori, antebellum, Drawfag Quest, Earth Defence Force, IN WHICH etc. etc., Venji, Narus' Quest, Over Story, Tory's Tower, This is a Story, Boon, Story Time, sometimes the pony quests, The End, Sue Quest 2 if it ever comes back to life.

This is just me going through the current /quest/ catalogue so if your quest got archived then my tiny faulty memory cannot recall it. I am a goddamn goldfish here.

>What quests do you not read?
Well I was originally going to list all the quests I don't read and explain why I read them until I realised it'd probably take me a week to do so.
If I didn't name your quest I don't read it. Simple as!

>What quests do you hide?

Golem Quest and any of its spin-offs like Golem Dreamer. They're too bulky to read, I swear. Other quests I give a chance to be interesting in some way and then I go read them. I think there's a fair few quests I started reading a while after they began.
>>

Journey Quest, Shed a Tear, Riarda Legends, Island of Onigashima, Pony Adventures: Heart Fixer

>What Quests do you read actively? (Watch for updates, open thread, suggest often)

Uh, I rarely ever suggest, because I tend to find my ideas to be bad. The ones I usually check each time I see them updating are, pretty much anything by ClockworkSeal, CBSF, Bitequest's quests, the other pony quests

>What quests do you read passively? (Read updates from the frontpage, occaisionally suggest)

To be honest, I haven't been reading quests like I used to. I've fallen waaaaay behind :<
ones I used to keep up with and sometimes still just pick up where ever they are are; Dive, Fortune's Call, Alien Quest, Lost Planet, Bubble Bucket, Hatch, Silvermoon, This is a Story, Tozzle Kweest, LonelyWorld's stuff, some of Slinko's stuff, uh... probably some others, but I can't think of them right now.

>What quests do you not read?

a lot of them, it doesn't necessarily mean I dislike them, I just haven't taken the time to read through them.

>What quests do you hide?

I don't actually bother hiding anything, takes to much work and I'm lazy.

>What quest do you run, or have run?
Herbert vs. Happiness

>What Quests do you read?
I at least skim everything on the main page (except for textquests).
I like and actively read or have read Bubble Bucket, Princess Quest (et al), Sammy's Adventure (the only text quest I can get myself to read), June Quest, Dive, Nan, Ruby, Mudy, EDF, Scribble quest... I guess just like everybody else I forget a few.

There are also some quests I actively read, that ar just not long enough yet or haven't fully convinced me, but I at least think they might become something I will enjoy. Those are Boon, Amorphia, Drawfag quest, It happens, Let's play quest, Rite of spring, The city in the mist... (again i think I forgot some, but many of them have probably ended up in the graveyard)

>What quests do you hide?
None.

>What quests do you dislike?
Ok... That's the one question nobody wants to answer just to not be considered rude. I think there's not enough negative critisism on this site. I'd like to get some negative feedback on my quest myself to be honest, so I'll just go ahead and say what quests I honestly don't like, that are currently active. This is of course highly subjective. I can understand that people with a different taste may like the quests I dislike.

I generally don't like text quests, but that's just because I don't have the patience to fight my way through the walls of text.

I don't like most of LW's quests, maybe because they all adapt too many things from video games. If I take a look at his work from an objective point of view all his quests are actually pretty good (except for "pinkskin quest" 1 and 2).

I don't like "Fortune's Call". This quest started so good. I like the setting, the characters, the artwork, but after the third chapter the plot just stopped existing and got replaced by random missions. Maybe it the story will pick up again, but currently I really dislike it.

I don't like "Blake quest".

And then there are several one-shots. I'm not sure whether they'll be continued. If they do, they may improve, but currently they are, in my opinion, not very good: "Sourg Rapes", "Bungee Grapple Adventure", "KPSUQAABPPHHESSAD", "Epic Survival","Haha, look at this guy..." (I've no idea how the real title of this quest is) "Legs Man quest", "Black Bird", "Hello Advisor".

Your questions for readers are horribly negative and not something most would answer to without saying something positive also. In fact I doubt many readers will dare to answer. So I hope you don't mind I mix and match to feel a little better about it.

>Actively
Herbert vs. Happiness, old Lucid's stuff, Bitequest and lots of other ancient stuff before I went away for a while.

>Passively, occassionaly.
Tozol, Before the storm. I'm so horribly behind on Brom's stuff that I can't suggest. Tiffany also. Don't know if I'll ever catch up. That cute dragon thing with the squiggly art that's name I can't remember since it's been so long.

>dislike
Blake quest. That doglizard thing has become really annoying. So far everything by SDF. Most of Seals stuff, arts good but execution falls apart.

>emotion, which, character
Ruby quest because it's always special when it's your first time. The ending of first mudyquest thread. Bitequest had lots of fuck yeah moments. Herbert vs. Happiness currently running.

Kyaos, she was the nemesis that became our favorite waifu to the extent that people wanted her to kill our characters and wrote fanfic about how she's misunderstood. So a character that I kinda liked became something I despised when she embodied the spirit I felt our /quest/ had back then. If enemy is female then prepare your anus because we can't do anything. Nice character turned ugly by things outside of story. When the quest was over I just liked her. It was really fun.

Dio and some old Brom's characters. Heartsbane. Herbert. Tav. I guess that's it. Huh, kinda shorter list than I would have thought. Must be forgetting some or still forming opinion.

I agree with bffa2a, your questions for Readers are dumb and sucks in comparison to questions for Authors.
Which is why I will answer some of the questions for Quest Authors (I do not run any quests) because FUCK THE POLICE.

> What Quests do you read actively
I read GolemQuest, since it is awesome and has a tendency to update at a predictable rate, also I like HUGE BLOCKS OF TEXT.
I also read the Icon, because it is awesome.
Anything by Slinkoboy or Lonelyworld (though I am more interested in CommandQuest than in CrashQuest or Colony Guard).
Oh, and Tory's tower.

> What quests do you read passively
Currently: Island of Onigashima, Fortune's Call, (I'll read it actively as soon as it finds the plot again) anything by SDF (partly due to bile fascination) and whatever else might interest me but I can't be arsed to read.

> What quests do you not read
I do not read a lot of quests, mainly because I am lazy.

> What quests do you hide
I only hide a quest if it manages to bother me enough.
So far the only ones that have managed to do so are BlakeQuest (big shocker, I know) and that rather new quest known as Origination.

> What quests do you dislike
BlakeQuest, also Origination. Otherwise I don't really dislike anything.

> What quests have you saged
I don't sage. EVER. Seriously, what kind of question is this?

> Has any quest ever evoked an actual emotional response from you?
That is a very tricky question.
There probably is, but the only one I can remember from the top of my head is the one with the hitman and the rain and the kitten and the animal clinic.

> Do you have a character you really like?
Several, from a lot of different quests, I don't feel like listing any of them though.

> Dislike?
Every character in BlakeQuest. Also other, but I can't be arsed to list any of the other quest character I dislike, but I assure, you THEY EXIST!

AND NOW I AM DONE!

I'm bored and like to watch myself type.
Gonna be brutally honest because I rarely check in here anymore AND not many people here know of me so they are unlikely to care about what I say, negative or otherwise!

>what quests do you run

None here! Not only does this place seem a bit cliquish, but it's very much an artists' community. I can only do text quests so I take them where they are appreciated.

>what quests do you read

Back when I checked this site at least once a day I read a lot. I came here for P5's quests so PrincessQuest is a given. Nan because Weaver is the mother of all quests. Story Time (about Mirage the dragon). Tiffany. Deep. Various other quests that caught my eye but I can't remember now. I was more or less a passive reader from the start, though.

>what quests have you saged/hidden

None.

>what quests do you dislike

None. I'm apathetic to it at worst.

>emotional response

Mudy and Journey were very well-done and evocative quests. I wasn't as big a fan of Knight's Blades but Reaver is talented enough to be entitled to flip the fuck out once in a while, I'll say that.

>character you really like

Tiffany. Cutest little necromancer ever and she kicks ass to boot. You go girl.

I too will also go against The Man and answer most of the quest author ones as well.

>What Quests do you read actively? (Watch for updates, open thread, suggest often)
I read a lot of 'em. Mostly ones that started up after I began frequenting the board. I'll just mention a few of them:
It Happens, LoQeust (JUST got the whole "locust" play-on-words as I was writing this. Haha), Before The Storm, June Quest, the Pony Adventure Quests, Void, Bungee Grapple Adventures, In Which a Character etc., and Venji.

>What quests do you read passively? (Read updates from the frontpage, occaisionally suggest)
Golem Dreamer, because WORDS WORDS WORDS. As well as a few quests I checked that haven't really drawn me in yet:
Survivors, cookie mafia, Through the Chaos, The Executioner, Thirty Pieces of Silver, and Pinkskin Quest.

>What quests do you not read?
A lot, mostly due to a lack of time right now.

>What quests do you hide?
None. I can scroll by any I don't care for easily enough.

>What quests do you dislike?
Any and all quests by SDF, Codename: Origination due to a confusing beginning and the present fanservicing with accompanying creepy-faced avatars, the camera thing from Doll is too confusing for my tiny brain as well as its general lack of direction until the more recent updates, didn't care for the direction that the "PICTURE UNRELATED" text quest took, and then the ones that didn't draw me in at all:
Epic Survival, Over Story, that "Hee hee look at this one she's adorable" quest, Master of Magic, Crisis Counseling, The Haunting of the Festival, and Descent.

>What quests have you saged?
None.

>Has any quest ever evoked an actual emotional response from you?
>If so, which, and when (remember spoilers) ?
The ending Flash from Herbert vs. Happiness Chapter 3.

Anything by Brom, Roanna, some of Larro's stuff

>What quests do you read passively?
The rest. Tozol and Venji, currently. Any other quest I am made aware of.

>What quests do you not read? What quests do you hide?
I don't read text quests. I don't hide quests.

>What quests do you dislike? What quests have you saged?
I usually follow a quest when its new, and abandon when it goes on a direction I don't dig. Happened often enough for me just forget names. No saging though.

> Has any quest ever evoked an actual emotional response from you? If so, which, and when (remember spoilers) ?
Ruby, naturally. And Oren, when I took part the big show-off and earned Blejwas as an enemy for life.

Do you have a character you really like?
Off the top of my head, there's Nessie, Penji, Sevi, EDF Mayor, Coralina, Curi, Qbert, Roanna... thats prettymuch it. Not counting most of my characters, which makes hard to want to kill them.

Dislike?
That tiny deer, stealing all my spotlight... nah, she's cool.

Do: Deep, Boon, IN WHICH A CHARACTER IS UNEXPECTEDLY THRUST INTO A FANTASTICAL ADVENTURE, Pony Adventures: Strawberry Fluff

>What Quests do you read actively? (Watch for updates, open thread, suggest often)

Well I don't suggest often, but I always make sure to Read Onigashima, Riarda Legends, Sammy's Heart, This is a Story, Herbert vs Happiness, The other Pony threads, Bungee Grapple Adventures, and CBSF.

>What quests do you read passively? (Read updates from the frontpage, occaisionally suggest)

Tory's Tower, Fortune's Call nowadays, I'll generally glance over just about anything on the front page.

>What quests do you not read?

Generally things that are bad enough to be really bland but not bad enough for the train wreck mentality to set in. I don't read Blake Quest because it's so bad that it has gone PAST train wreck and back into unreadable. Also don't read Aberration, Tozzle, Underpants, or Text Quests that I haven't been told are good by someone whose opinion I trust.

>What quests do you hide?

Golem Quest is a goddamn eyesore. Walls of obnoxiouslyformatted Text make it take way too long to scroll past. So it gets hidden. That's about it, though.

>What quests do you dislike?

Those quests that I don't read because they're bad but not trainwreck bad? Those. The trainwrecks, too (Origination, as a recent example). Most Text Quests.

>What quests have you saged?

Anyone 'sage'ing a quest because they don't like it is a goddamn retard and I will probably ban them if I see it.

>Has any quest ever evoked an actual emotional response from you?
>If so, which, and when (remember spoilers)?
Ruby Quest haunted me for a while and started up an obsession for quests that lasted almost a year. At the end of the quest, I was... well, worried about Ruby and Tom. Did they make it across safely? Did they go crazy in the end due to the aftereffects of the treatment? Did they return to civilization and get normal jobs...? I eventually decided on answers to most of these questions that I'm satisfied with.
My obsession with quests calmed down since then and I'm not nearly as ready to dive in and suggest as I used to. Novelty's worn off, I guess.
Also, in Through the Chaos, I became very attached to Truth and Sensation. I got choked up a few times during the last few updates, and even now I worry about Truth regressing and hurting Sensation. I want there to be something we can do for the chaos creatures. This new sequel... I'm looking forward to seeing if Dark can make things 'fair'. It looks like the best chance we have is to find some way to make a chaos creature grow far past the stage where they would normally give birth and die, allowing ANYONE to feed harmlessly upon the giant. I presume there is some sort of energy source fueling the Chaos and allowing the ecosystem to keep going despite entropy.

>What Quests do you read actively? (Watch for updates, open thread, suggest often)
Golem Quest, The Icon, Bubble Bucket, Cutebold Slaughter Fest, Resonance, Defective, Oren, Eivr, STORY TIME, Tory's Tower.

>Do you have a character you really like?
That OP pic there's pretty good... oh, in quests. Um... I'm gonna say Rynh, currently. In the past I would've said someone from Hat Quest or its sequels probably... or Ven. Or maybe someone from Knight Blades or Dive Quest. That is the past, however.
