Ada... I don't think your people have to do anything they don't want to. It's not like we can force 'em to join us, for one! And you guys are super-advanced, living safe, comfortable lives, looks like. People wouldn't want to throw that away, tear up their roots from the one safe place they know of in the world just to join a big be all end all throw-down between the bloody pagans and the oppressive church. Not on the mere suggestion of some supposed end-of-the-world scenario. For all you guys know, it could be a really silly, stupid trick, or we're just plain wrong, or whatever. Heck, even if we convince your leaders, your civilians might have a hard time understanding and believing the why and what for!
It's not gonna be as easy as just presenting the evidence, with your support, I think. There's gonna be concerns of politics, strategy, secrecy, a whole mess, I guess... but it's part of what makes you worth saving. You're people, too, and you're not assholes like the Church - just isolationists, and who'd blame you for that with the way the world's been of late?
Don't worry, though. I brought some of the best folks I could think of with me - Issei, in case of trouble and evil intent, Uma, for her love of the entomological and her kind way with words, and Flint, to sell the value of what we Pagans know and can do. We're all gonna do our best here... and we have you, too, to help us.
And best case scenario, we get your leaders' buy-in for long enough to really prove that what us pagans are saying is true. Then we get your people's actual support, and they can get started on the logistics of settling into the Gilded. It's not gonna be easy, but it sure as heck's gonna beat the alternative.
Worst case... I suppose they'll laugh or sneer at our story and boot us out. If that happens... well, it's up to you what you want to do. If I were you, I'd stay here, talk it out with whoever I could, and then come back to us. The Gilded will be open for folks from Unter.
... actually, worst worst case, they believe us, but decide they'd rather try to negotiate with the church instead. Boy, that'd sure suck. Flint? Can you field the question of how well our conflict has been going against the church without making us sound like the underdoggiest underdogs? I know me and my team has been dunking on priests for a while now, but the pagans did just take a pretty nasty blow.
