Spikesby follows the voice. He finds a ... thing in a room all by itself. There is a steel cable attaching it to the wall.

>"Whoah! Somebody actually showed up! You've got to get me out of here! Breaker will probably only be out of the castle for a couple more hours! Get me out of here! Please!"

Oh god, so many things could go wrong here...

Ask her if she knows anything about the layout of the... wait we can only speak in waks.

Gaah.

Well, the first obvious quest is, would we be able to help her out? Is there any obvious way to free her?

You can't help her escape once she's free. Breaker will definitely hunt you down if anyone finds out. Tell her this, and cut the chain right where it joins the wall, or somewhere it's visibly weakened. It may look like it simply broke.

The cable is just kinda pinched together against the wall. Spikesby could easily pry it apart either where it connects here or around the metal belt.

The lady keeps talking

>"Oh, thank you so much! So much! Look, guy, whatever you need, OK? I will hook you up! I can fly you to wherever you need to go! Don't worry about anything."

Is there some kinda window? If Breaker is out of the castle we can probably get her out easy. If he asks us, but only if he asks, we can say Ashley did it.

Hit the cable once and shrug, maybe she'll get the idea that you have no way of freeing her at the moment.

Unless your beak/claws can snap the cable, in which case, well, do that!

Suddenly, I smell a trap. Why is she in the fucknasium and not the captivarium? She's talking a whole lot in a situation requiring stealth, while telling us not to worry, but this is obviously extremely dangerous.

Examine where the cable attaches to the belt for structural weakness, to stall for time so we get a better feel for her motive before deciding.

It'd also be annoying to have her around if she's just going to talk our ears off.

Spikesby motions for her to be quiet, and is cautious, but he decides to break the cable.

She immediately grabs him and sqeezes! She's strong!

>"Oh, little guy! Thanks! Thanks so much! You have no idea how happy I am right now! Look, you've got to get out of here right now, though. What were you even doing here? If any of the Battle Beasts or Moaning Ladies find you.. you won't be too glad. They won't kill you. They'll wait till Breaker gets back before they do that, but you won't enjoy yourself in the mean time. Seriously. Let me at least get you out of this damn castle. You seriously do not want to be here when Breaker is gone."

We will still need to deliver the letter eventually, and if the bridge guard sees us try to cross again from the side we came from he will get suspicious. We have to either wait just outside the castle, or fly entirely out then fly entirely in again.

Can she fly us behind the castle or somewhere out of sight so we don't get spotted, and will be safe until Breaker gets back? Then we can just walk back in again. She can meet us again when we leave, past the bridge.

Spikesby is fairly torn as to whether or not to go with her, but he decides in the end to go with her.

>"Okay little guy, you do what you need. I'll try and meet up with you later, after you've already dealt with Breaker. I'd always look up at my window, and I'd think so hard about getting the hell out. I was never given a name, but I think I'd like to be called Sky."

She dives out the window. Spikesby's got a lot to think about, but he doesn't care right now. He's never flown before.

I guess if Breaker finds out and confronts us we could tell him we had to free her in order to get away from his hostile servants. If we had died, he may have not gotten the delivery.

Spikesby nods once, he wants to get this over as quickly as he can!

They fly for a while. A couple of towns flash by and he eventually sees huge, coastal cliffs towering ahead and dense forest beneath him.

The rain has slackened considerably, and the lightning has stopped.

Spikesby is feeling fairly stressed right now!

This is an overview of the area, Flails Breaker is definitely faster than Spikesby!

The ground is hard and rocky, not soft enough for him to burrow in. There is water off of the cliff.

Spikesby isn't too worried about burning to death. His skin is tough and he's resistant to heat.

He makes it out of the burning forest without too much trouble, and doesn't think Flails Breaker followed him or anything.

He's got a lot to think about. First, Flails Breaker didn't give him a task, so he's currently got nowhere he has to go, second, as far as he knows Blacksoul is still aware of his presence and all, he still belongs to Blacksoul, but now, things are different. Spikesby feels different.

Ash drifts down around him as the raging inferno lights up the starless night.

There is a gentle flutter of wings.

There has to be at least one good, cool wizard.

For instant, Get Flails pissed off enough to actually attack Radia personally.

Provoking the wizards into starting up the war again would probably be BAD END. And killing just one of them ourselves, if we could even find a way, would probably end the same way.
We need to somehow get them all to quietly assassinate each other at exactly the same time.
