You stand and brush yourself off, assessing the situation and making sure nothing seems broken. You're a little bruised, but nothing to bad.

You quiz yourself to make sure you still know who you are, as you've heard many stories of people who happen to wake up in strange places not knowing who they are, but you forget what that's called.

You are Demesi of Angoldas, but your friends always just called your "Deme" (apparently two more letters was to much for your lazy friends). You are a Nedynvor, which is odd, because Nedynvor usually stick to the sky, and you are clearly in a hole in the ground.

It is dark. There doesn't seem to be much down here with you, just a few small rocks, and what appears to be a small hole in the base of the wall.

The walls of the hole seem far to loose and mooshy for you to effectively climb... almost like mud even.

Perhaps the hole within the hole will yield better results

You've been ROBBED! It's getting to the point that a person can't black out in a hole in the ground without being taken ADVANTAGE OF anymore!

as high as the water has gotten, you would have to dunk your head in to reach the hole again, and with the thick texture and unpleasant smell of this water, that's something you'd like to avoid...

>>854
Luckily, your light avian frame makes you fairly capable of floating, even though you've never actually learned how to swim, good thing all you have to do is stay at the surface.

As the water gets within arms length of the mouth of the hole the pouring slows to a trickle and you clamber up onto the ledge.

Check to make sure that is a corpse, and if so how long it has been dead for, if you can tell.

You reacquire your CUDGEL

>>11448
You prod the creature with one of your legs, carefully so as not to make it's situation worse should it still be alive. It doesn't move. It looks to be a corpse, probably killed by metal rods being shot through it. If you had to guess, you'd say it was done a few days ago maybe?

>>11449
If the body had any loot other than it's "armor" it looks as if it's already been taken by someone else.

There is a broken window leading to an alley outside, it looks dark as it seems to be cast in shadow from this building and what appears to be a large stalagmite attached to the building. There is a toppled book case and books and papers strewn about. A trail of blue blood looks as if some one wounded staggered against the wall down the hallway, crashed into the book case, and stumbled to the door in the rock wall. The door appears to lead to a room that leads up, but has no stairs.
