She seems to have a lot of fur and a couple of antlers on her and nothing else. Her name is apparently Dixie Stardancer.

Now, we know less than you do. Tell us the most relevant stuff and skip the rest- possible exit routes, obstacles, etc.

Okay uh redaeth, okay, Yeah, my name is Dixie. I don't have anything at all yet I don't think. I am in a big concrete place but this room just has a bed and a doorway and a terminal in it.

Uh, Cd97f, uh, Look, I escaped from a containercage sort of dealie and I ran away and now I'm in this room instead of the other room and people are going to find me and oh god oh god!

You can still hear me ok, right? I'm going to try and hook this into the camera system. I am pretty good with wires and stuff and all.

Woah, Sarda, how did you know my name? I Haven't told you yet! There is a long hallway outside and there are just like, a bunch of rooms over out there. I think I can give you guys access to the cameras and I think there is a mic here I can wear so you can hear me but please you got to help me get out ok? Please!

To clarify- it sounds like panicking in this situation will just get you caught faster, since we don't seem to be mobile and you apparently have no idea what the layout of this place is. I'd suggest locking them out and giving yourself time.

Of course, that gives your possible pursuers more time too, so we'll have to use it wisely.
>>
No. 442999 ID: 6a1ec2

I would suggest you hide, but given that color scheme it's entirely impossible.
>>
No. 443000 ID: 886a4d

Alright, calm down though. You'll do yourself no good panicing. Next check the bed, take any blankets or sheets. Those will do as impromptu ropes or a sack to hold any items.

Have you seen anyone else besides yourself before you escaped? If so what did they look like, and were they armed?

I'm guessing we can use cameras to scout out possible routes but a general idea of the surrounding area would be nice before hand.
>>

Okay, chill dixie, I want you to stop and breath deeply. In, out, in out.

Do that for six seconds, count them, One Mississipi. Two Mississipi, thre mississip, four mississipi, five mississip, six mississipi. keep oing that until you're calm.

Once thats done try the other suggestions, don't panic.

Okay I counted all the numbers, and I totally acquired the bedsheets. You guys will have access to the camera for whatever room I'm in, and I'm mic'd so I can hear you and stuff! Also I think you will be able to lock and unlock some of the doors, as long as you know the room number!

Okay I can peep out the door, I know this one is unlocked. All of them just have a normal handle so if they have a lock it's always going to be electric, for sure.

Okay I am peeping now. I don't see anything but I can hear some footsteps. I can't tell if they're closer or further away. Oh, I forgot to say this, but I haven't seen anybody but you guys.

Okay so there are six doors on the hall, three behind me and three in front.

Oh I think if you want to put commands, you type ">>" like, to lock a door, type >>Lock 6A" or whatever the door is.

Okay so in front of me, the way my body is facing, there is an L turn. I can't see what's the other way without peeping over the box.
>>

You look hilarious dear, forget the sheets for the moment since your fur acts as a good modetsy preserver.

Okay we'll lock this room if we have to keep you safe, in the meantime look for room numbers and be ready to scream at us to lock them if they contain some sort of horrible monstrosity
>>

Okay peek over the box, lets stay away from the downstairs areas for the moment.
>>
No. 443027 ID: 6a1ec2

Modesty is not nearly the problem so much as being spotted.

There is a bipedal armed and armored entity a good three paces beyond the box you were about to peek over. His back is turned. Also your StC score (seconds to crate) is 2640.
>>
No. 443030 ID: 886a4d

Theres a gaurd there. He has his back to you.

Keep the sheets, instead twist them so they form a rope. We can use that as a garrote. Better then relying on hands. How quiet do you move. If your relatively confident of your stealh approach him from behind and loop the garrotte / sheet around his neck. and then pull as hard as you can.

Okay I am peeping, if you say he's not looking at me.

Is that a good StC score? I hope I'm doing good...

Okay down this way there is a stairwell at the end of the hall, the way the soldier guy is walking.

I am like, really really super quiet. I can walk so quiet okay? Should I try the garotte plan or like, sneak the other way or something? Look I calmed down because of you guys but I'm still really scared, but he is shorter than me and maybe I have powers or something??? I don't know! I need you guys to help me please!
>>
No. 443038 ID: 886a4d

A sheet garotte is a stupid idea. Tear a strip off the sheet, if you absolutely must have a garotte to murder people with. Regardless he's either a robot or wearing body armor. Plus he's moving away. Time to try the door he's walking past!

No. 443093 ID: d6c330

Yes, it wasn't your fault. You were afraid, desperate, and imprisoned. And you had no idea of your own strength.

From now on, avoid physical contact with anyone else you encounter. Meat and metal might as well be spiderwebs to you.

Best thing you can do for him is to leave. If he's alive, they'll recover him- you can't help. If he's dead, you can't do anything about it.
>>
No. 443095 ID: 886a4d

Again calm down. Yes we see that your sorry and you didn't mean to kill him. Now we also know your much stronger then you appear. Take his weapon, his belt and his helmet. Be careful not to damage anything else. Look at his helmet for any sign of electronics. We want to know what they are saying and if they are advanced enough to contain you their helmets most likely have inbuilt communicators.

Dangerous yes. Frightened yes. Unstable not so much. I think shes better free then at your tender mercies
>>
No. 443104 ID: 98a065

Okay chill Dixie. Just put down the dead guard, you can't do anything for him. The important thing to do here is search him for useful stuff. Knives, guns, clothing that isn't filthy with blood or other bodily fluids. and get the helmet, check it for communication devices, microphones and such.

After that bug out, we need to find a way out of here.
>>
No. 443105 ID: d6c330

Guys, she can shred armor like it's not even there. She doesn't need a knife, that makes her less dangerous. And a gun isn't much good if you're going to involuntarily crush it in your hands the first time you get nervous or afraid.

...well, obviously she can modulate her strength to some degree, since she didn't mangle the keyboard earlier, but still.

I got the gun and the belt and the h-h-helmet. There's a communicator thingy in the helmet, *sniff*

I also p-p-put his heart in there b-because I'm sad.

His c-clothes won't fit me at all.

The stairwell is j-just at the end of the hall. W-what was I supposed to do with the h-helmet and the gun, and wh-which way am I supposed to go, Up or d-d-down?
>>
No. 443107 ID: 98a065

It'd be kind of nice to have something that isn't her hand to shove into sharp objects or energy fields or what not, Besides she can throw the knife or use the gun to shoot distant objects.

Clearly we'll need to get some strength training done.
>>

No. 443111 ID: 98a065

Wait...hold it. Dixie you collected the guy's heart? That's a no-no dear. Please don't steal people's hearts, if only because they need them to live.

Just hold onto the gun for the moment, put the belt on, if it won't fit around your waist wear it like a bandoleer. As for the helmet fiddle with it, see if you can get it to interface with the computer system so we can use it to listen in on enemy communications. I mean you got the computer working you can manage this right?

For now, you're safe. Stay here. Calm down.

>>
No. 443114 ID: 997ce7

>>443106
The problem with hearts is that while it's fine to take something to remember him by because you feel guilty about murdering him and want to bury him or suchlike, hearts should not be used for this purpose.

Firstly, they're messy. A treasured possession or something with their name on it is better. Secondly, the actual corpse and corpse bits should be left for the family, unless there's no other way to get him back to a non-hostile location. And this location is only hostile for you.
>>
No. 443115 ID: 886a4d

The belt is basically so you can hold items. Since your so strong you can probably rip the helmet apart w\o touching the electronics so you can wear the communication and visor.

As for the gun, its simply to give you some range in case you need to fight your way out.

As for the heart can you tell us why you kept it beyond you felt sad?

well "the subject is incomplete" so I think we can assume she's been vat grown and programmed with basic skills, like the ability to panic and call for help. Maybe she's the product of some sort of demented mothering instinct. anyway she accidentily ripped out that poor guards heart so her collecting it isn't that big a deal, we just need to keep an eye on her in the future and make her obey some basic societal, rules. She's done everything else we've asked so far.

The turret should be the only thing fast enough to track you and it won't fire because of the risk of hitting the soldiers. Guys, if we want to find out if having her surrender is a good idea, we need to find out how these guys operate. The best method for that is to check in the LABS, not in the loading bays!

Dixie has very low self control, so simply letting her out is a bad plan. Imagine her trying to shake someone's hand or give someone a hug. It's a recipe for disaster. What we should be doing is finding a way to depower her or give her better self-control.

Also just imagine a neon pink deer hybrid trying to integrate with society.

Grey Noon Cloud, you're a sweetie! I can answer all your questions!

Command and Control is holed up in High Security Research and Development A. He's the butthole that locked me down here, even though I just want to help. What a loser, right boys?

We've got some folks come to shut us down, and Command and Control is trying to secure everything and lock them out. I don't know why he doesn't just let us go up there and kill them all! It wouldn't even be hard. It's what we're made for, after all.

-You guys really manufactured here, or are you suborned or altered naturally occurring critter?
-Any idea why Command would order us to prevent human casualties, and then pile soldiers between Dixie and her capture point? Seems suspicious to me.

Command and Control didn't put those soldiers there. They're invading the base. I don't know why we just can't kill them all. All Command and Control has are the automated weapons and robots. And us. Yeah, bad news Dixie. Sorry, but it was Vixie we let out.

I leave. Galaxie is waiting for me outside. I go with her to the room she leads me to.

Inside is a chair that I sit down on, and a table that Galaxie sits on.

I hear a voice come from speakers in the room.

"Dixie, do you remember me? Also, hello, Operators. I am Command and Control. My purpose is to protect human life, a purpose at which I feel I am not accomplishing. I will not mince words, I wish for all of the experimental creatures to be returned here and to never leave. Any alternative creates massive loss of life for the innocent civilians outside. Perhaps we can work together."

The thing is Dixie here is just as innocent as the civilians as your protecting. Doesn't she deserve that same freedom to live her life as they do? Instead of locking them away give them the ability to choose. They alal could turn their strengths to benefit instead of the destruction they seem to be built for. As for Vixie she would need to be stopped of course... but she too deserves the chance to live.

"The Subjects are innocent, but they are too dangerous. It's unfortunate, but true. Should they choose at any point in the future to turn their abilities to violent ends, the deaths would be extraordinary.

The purpose of the Subjects was noble - they were intended to be protectors - but no one associated with the project is still living. The attackers used nerve gas and EMP weapons to eliminate the scientists and many of the automated defenses. All of the Nullifiers above Basement 7 are inactive, although the sturdier defense turrets are mostly operational.

I cannot really control you or 'give you access' to anyone.

Vixie must be dealt with, and I cannot do it. I fear that Galaxie alone also would be incapable of destroying her. Please tell Dixie to wear the necklace Galaxie is giving her. I will return access to you for N7a3772, which is attached to the necklace. Then I suggest Galaxie and Dixie ... disable their sister. All of the Subjects possess extreme speed, strength and resiliance, as well as energy barriers that protect them from projectiles. Both are capable of producing deadly airborne compounds, although they are immune to them. They have paralytic hairs centered in their tails, although they are immune to the effects. All can project energy from their mouths. Galaxie is capable of flight. Dixie can, with direct access, substantially alter and affect computer systems. The nullifiers produce a certain feild around them that interferes with the brain functions of the Subjects, knocking them unconscious, although it does not effect normal humans.

The people in the facility were all killed in an attack on the facility, I suspect the situation outside is similar. The people invading are not associated with the organization I am a product of. I don't know what the situation outside is like. I will shut down the facility, seal it, and wait until someone with proper access arrives.

As to who you are, I have no idea. After the initial assault, Dixie escaped, and I had no resources active on her floor to recapture her. When she made contact with you, I felt it most reasonable to attempt to acquire your assistance, although I was only able to communicate in short messages."

Yeah, sorry we weren't so cooperative there, Command. Dixie asked for our help first, and your requests didn't immediately seem good for her well being. That, and we assumed the humans were base security, and in that light, your deployment of them made little sense, and made us suspect deceit.

That and we're not a singular entity. We have coordination issues.

Your overall plan has a problem though. You can't turtle up here with the subjects safely quarantined with enemy forces in house. Especially if they're here to either destroy or capture the subjects. You need a way to either repel the invaders, or get the subjects away from them.

What happens when we activate this necklace nullifier? Does it target Vixie, or any subject in range?

Dixie... let's just start out by stopping Vixie from going on a killing spree for now. We'll decide what else to do afterwards.

Galaxie's not very talkative, is she?

Ok, if you don't know who these people are then the best route to take is to capture and interrogate one.
That will allow us to acquire more information about who they are and what they are trying to accomplish here.

Following that we will determine the proper course of action, then make contact with Vixie. Retrieving Lexie will occur once the situation here is resolved.

No. 444693 ID: 6a1ec2

Your choice Dixie. We'll try to help walk you through it, whatever it is. Try not to fiddle with that necklace too much your you might substantially alter it! Galaxie is effectively who's been talking to us and using the loudspeakers to speak right now. She'd probably prefer to be called Command and Control. Apparantly there's trouble on the surface, and what she wants to do is close all the doors and hide until it passes over. Some of the doors aren't closed now so it's up to you to close them to keep the humans from breaking in, coming down, and getting killed more.

But Vixie will probably try to just kill them, so you might have to hurt her in order to keep her from leaving. Oh shoot, but actually she's on the first floor, where the nullifiers are keeping you lot asleep! So the people there might try to capture her and accidentally take her out of the nullifier range to do experiments, and oh shoot that would be really bad. How are you going to save them from her though, if you can't go where nullifiers are without falling asleep?

The first thing you should do is try to jury rig some monitors to display the situation upstairs. Some cameras may still be working, a little bit. Then, contact the people who are breaking in from above, to convince them to go away. If they don't listen to you, then you just go wherever they're breaking in and make sure the doors won't open.

On the other hand I don't see any reason to aid any overly complex plans to kill them all. If we're confronted by enemies we'll kill them. But otherwise we'll let 'em be. Or at least that's my suggestion for dealing with the troopers.

As for vixie... everybody remembers he right? Good, I think it's safe to say that for the greater good vixie needs to be shut down and reprogrammed, if we can't reprogram her we kill her. In the meantime lets squeeze command for info and try to figure out who to support here.

"I don't have especially anything to say, at the moment. I'm just waiting for us to go upstairs and stop Vixie. Whenever you're done here."

Galaxie hasn't been talking through the loudspeakers. Oh and Command and Control already said that all the nullifiers on everything above B7 are knocked out. So, we don't have to worry about that.

"Yes, I am an artificial intelligence designed to assist in the operation of the facility, and react if a disaster situation occurs. I am doing that currently to the best of my ability.

The soldiers invading are certainly following the orders of their superiors. I hold them no ill will, but do not wish for their superiors to have access to this facility. Eh, I don't really care. I guess you're right though. I guess it really is my decision. Right now, whether you turned the nullifier back on or not, they're still out for a good hour.

I don't really know if I'm dangerous. I don't really care about Vixie or Dixie or Lexie. I don't care about the humans and I don't really care about Command and Control. He just gave me something to do. It seemed interesting, for a while.

Now I don't really care. You guys seem to care a lot though, so, sure, whatever. I'll give you a shot.

Convince me that there's some reason we shouldn't all die. We're super dangerous. We're mentally and emotionally stunted, and there is no legitimate place for us in the outside world. Our whole existence would be one of constant fear. We'd have to run for the rest of our lives, and we'd be hunted. It seems doomed. It seems like a stupid, futile waste of time.

I could just drag everyone downstairs, or just do it here and walk back, have something nice to eat, and go to sleep. But sure, for the sake of argument. I'll give you once chance.

Convince me."

Let me tell you what it means to be human Galaxie. You are born, if you are lucky you are born into privilige and you have a decent shot at going somewhere with your life, you're given a chance to make something of yourself and whatever education you get overtime, you can use your wealth for enjoyment and the world is full of possibilities. You might even live in a part of the world with a stable society where you can live out your life of privilige free of danger with servants waiting at your beck and call.

If you aren't, you're born into a dangerous country and all the money in the world can't protect you. If you make the wrong move, back the wrong political movement you wind up dead, but if you're priviliged at least your decisions matter while you last.

If you're really unlusky you're born into a position where nothing you do will ever matter and you're destined to die, with no one ever having known you existed and with nothing to show for your efforts,

You said you didn't know if you were dangerous or not, then you said you were super dangerous. You don't actually seem all that sure about yourself. Was there ever anything or anyone you cared about? I'm guessing there was, but then he/she/it was destroyed, hence your current facade of disinterest and disillusionment.

You tell us. Why did you care? Why don't you anymore?

It's not that you shouldn't all die. It's just not your place to say whether Dixie should die or not. Not our place, not yours, not C&C. She's messed up it's true, but she's honestly trying to improve, be a good person and live peacefully. She may live in fear, or even self terminate from the stress of living on the surface, but maybe she wants to do that instead of die in here alone. Who here could know what she wants better than herself? Vixie pretty much implicitly agreed with you to die by taking out Lexie early, and you can do whatever you like with her. But Dixie I don't think you want to drag down into death. It just wouldn't be right.

And maybe you need some insurance, in case the bomb doesn't work.

You were looking for something to do correct? What better thing to do but find a life for yourself and your sister? Find something that doesn't bore you to tears. Who cares if your dangerous. Who cares if humans will hunt forever. That will just make it interesting. You've been stuck in one place since you've been created and now its time to explore the Galaxy...

If you're born with no wealth, political backing or anything to make you important its likely you'll live a life of quiet desperation. Hoping that you'll at least die loved by friends and family. Many people don't.

But despite this humans keep trying, just because it's easier to give up doesn't mean you should. Do you think you have it worse than some shmuck who's joined a doomed rebellion in a third world country Galaxie? Yoyu can fly, you have a biological forcefield and flame breath, you have superhuman strength and at least average human intelligence if not more. You have in short, everything you need to become one of the most important people in the world.

Fight back, go out into thw world and carve yourself a niche to survive in, let nothing stop you, if only to spite those who would destroy you. Giving up is never an option, because quite frankly, for 90% of the people on the world? Life sucks, and it always will suck for that 90%.

Be the 10% galaxie.

Why not just hole up here? This place is a fort. You can kill anyone who tries to invade, and just live your life isolated from the world. I see no downsides to this, aside from Command being a dick and trying to slag the place even if you're not next to the core.

Besides, we don't know who these invaders are or what happened at the surface. Maybe if we interrogate one we'll find out that there's some good use for your strength.

Laws are nothing more than words on paper that a majority of people choose to obey, those with the money and the power to do so itgnore them.

Morality is wholly subjective and anyone who says otherwise is selling you something.

Sanity is a viewpoint, and anyone who says otherwise is afraid you're close to learning the truth of the universe.

Life has no great meaning, if you want meaning you have to make that meaning. Those who feed you the rules, the facts of the universe decide what the meaning of your life here on this earth control you to one degree or another.

so I guess what I'm really saying here is...

Don't choose to die Galaxie, it would be extremely boring and the universe would be poorer with your loss. I want to see how your story ends, and eating something nice and then blowing up with the Facility as Command commits a narcissitic suicide is such a boring ending that I can't stand it.

Be absolutely amazing for me Galaxie.

Please?

Who says there's no place for you in the outside world? Command? He's been shown to be a liar several times over now. You can't trust anything he says to be true.

Dangerous doesn't mean you have no right to live. All people have the capacity to hurt or kill each other. It's surprising easy, even if you aren't a born weapon. If the capacity to do wrong were the metric by which we judged life, the only appropriate response would be genocide.

And you're bored? You don't care? The only chance you have to find something interesting in life is if you leave.

And even if you don't care? Dixie does, deeply. If nothing else, get her out. You can always die later if you change your mind. It costs you nothing.

Galaxie, your attitude is excellent but just as broken as your sisters. You don't care, Vixie wants to kill everything, Dixie is a spaz, who knows what Lexie's problem was. You're all different.

It may sound futile to you, so fine, chillax with a sandwich and wait for the end. At least have the decency to let Dixie and Vixie decide if it sounds pointless to them.

You know Dixie will choose to flee, and Vixie will want to go out and murder all the things. They don't want to die like this.

I doubt they want to die being hunt down by whoever is after all y'all either, though, but that's a thing they can do something about. That's a choice they should get to make.

If it sounds too pointless you can totally still die! Vixie would probably happily devour you! But it isn't really mercy-killing them if they don't want to.

Let Vixie and Dixie have their chances. Stop that explosion, let Dixie out, and if you really don't want to bother with it, just let Vixie kill you and let her escape too.

You are basing your decision on what you think if best for innocent people.
This means you are not a threat to them.

Dixie is much the same way; even when scared, she was terrified of hurting people.

Vixie is violent, and not fit for release.

Lexie is dead, but how dead? Has she been killed beyond her ability to regenerate? Even with your assistance?

Rather than dying here, why not leave the facility and become rescue workers?
You seem rather well suited for firefighting or disaster response, and once you're in the public eye a lot of things will change for the better.

All those people died trying to make you into people who could save lives. It would be disgusting to let that sacrifice have been in vain.

Reports of the worst domestic atomic disaster in history fill the airwaves. Rescue workers are being sent to nearby towns to determine the extent of fallout and possible radiation or contamination of watersources and soil nearby. A terrorist attack is the current operating theory, although some reports indicate there may have been a military facility nearby, so a domestic disaster may also be to blame. A few survivors report seeing strange objects in the sky shortly before the explosion, but military and civilian sources report no aircraft in the area before or after the explosion.

I don't think Control actually knew about what kind of self-destruct it was. From his responses about Vixie, he seemed to want to help humans but blindly trust that following his orders would do so.
