>>
No. 34793 ID: 1afd58

There's a hole in the vent from the incinerator.

Either it will work and the heat exhaust will cook everyone in the room, or it won't work and pete will get out and kill them both.
>>
No. 34798 ID: 7fd749

>>34793

Most of the burn for incineration should only transfer by contact, the air will be comparatively safe (like with ovens), and we can expect alot of the exhaust to be blasted through into the remainder of the vent, but yeah it'd get pretty damn toasty in there after it was turned on. All in all I think it's worth trying. Even if it doesn't work, at least it'd trap Pete long enough for us to put some distance between us.

In a cremator the flames won't go very far. They're designed to create very intense local heating of the body, and minimise the amount that goes elsewhere, which would be inefficient. If we stood right by the break in the vent we might get surface burns from hot air, but it wouldn't set us alight. Air is an absolutely terrible thermal conductor.

He tries to comfort me, saying Pete left us no choce.
And I know he's right, and I know Pete was... insane... I feel sorry for him.

I didn't want to kill anyone.

Moments of screams pass, as Bane keeps the oven shut.
It doesn't seem like Pete is focussing on breaking out, as I see no dents on the outside.

Jason keeps talking, but I can't hear him over the screams, I think he's trying to comfort me.

Then, at the exact same time, both are silent.

I don't really want to, I mean, that oven is going to contain either a very angry Pete or a burning corpse.
And I'm not very keen on seeing either.
Bane tells you:
>"He's not responding now, if he is alive."
>"So we should use this moment to get out of here, before he decides to get back up."

We can take the hallway Jason and Bane came from, but Bane tells me it's just a long hallway, leading back to the room with the barries.
It has no mentionable details.

The other way would be trough the airducts we came from, and see if there is a doorway in the shadow part of the barrier room.

Finally, we could use the broken airduct of the oven.

At this rate, the room will fill up with smoke and whatnot slowly.

Gotcha, CD inventory'd

Now I suggest my plan
>"Jason~ I think we should get some sleep together while Bane stays on the lookout, and after we've slept Bane could sleep, while we stand on the lookout.
>"What do you think?"

Jason looks at me a bit shyly, but I can tell he approves of the plan.
I then turn to Bane.

>"You know mah ducky, I'm not tired at all, I dare say I'm confident enough I can stay awake for as long as you two wish to sleep."
He replies with a smile.

You are a dirty one, you are.

Me and Jason decide to get some sleep then, in the crate.
At least its slightly softer than the floor, and it's somewhat secluded.

I rest my head against his chest, and he holds my hand, he puts his other hand on my head.
It makes me feel safe, secure.

In this hell, for at least one night, I feel truely happy...

God damn it, Velenor, I'm going to kick your ass if you don't stop making me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
