Marco, having set out to stop the shadow demon Diava from destroying the world and creating a new one in her image, wandered around without purpose after the four gems had been used.

He travelled to confront the shadow demon in her own domain, but she revealed to him the truth. He had thought her heartless and obsessed in her search for the gems, but in the process had become the same. She offered a tendril in friendship, swearing to never seek the gems again as long as he would swear the same.

And a pact was formed, and enmity dispelled.

The insectoid guardian of the lava lands, known only as "Bugfriend", continued to look after her realm. She was visited frequently by her friends, and with them slowly worked to repair the lava lands of their damage, making it a far more prosperous realm for all.

Fin began to realise and appreciate the amazing power he had at his disposal after being temporarily deprived of it. He knew he could use it to change his native land for the better, and where the flow of water brought chaos and destruction, he would be there to fix it. And if those he cared about succumbed to the currents, he would be there to save them.

And the waters were tamed, and lessons learned.
