Its name is Vincent. Well while I said that for Penelope's benefit I guess technically she still can't talk. Do indeed examine the enclosure for any irregularities, as well as the push-cart-thing

Show your superiority to its hostile actions by performing a small dance, culminating with revealing your bottom to it and rubbing it up against the glass suggestively. That always works in the movies.

Fzzzttsss, like a can opening, the door to the box disappears, and It is just freaking out "Ooooh no, This isn't good"

Yell at it: "It would help if I could hear you!"

Grab it, pull it out, and hug and snuggle it.

Also point out that lots of things here seem to be broken and/or shut down, so his insistence on staying in there for some reason might not be especially a great idea.

It SHALL be grabbed. It SHALL be snuggled. And you WILL blow rasberries on its stomach.

Afterwards, examine its collar thing, and let's hope it's not one of those that detonates if the subject leaves a proximity.

After the hug, Pen takes a moment to examine the thing around it's neck. She is perplexed by it.
"Oh that's my id collar, it allows me to work, but you should know this already...my name is Vinny, please to meet you...um~"

Well the name's Vincent, actually. And Vinny for short doesn't really work since it's the same number of syllables. Silly cat. Anyway the red light on doesn't look good. probably an alert that the cat is out of its cage.

Pen explores the cart. She finds that there is a ring that pulls out on a light blue string, almost kind of like the blue goop in the bottle but solid.
Vinny: Hey leave my cart alone.

"No, my name is Vinny. Vinny!" Vinny yells as it pushes Pen's hand away from smooshing it's face. muttering something about being just as bad as big brother...as it fixes it's face fur.

pfft, Vincent has no right to correct you if he can't even state his name properly. Anyway, congratulations on your first word! Now if only Vincent would be more helpful. How strong are you compared to him? Can you lift him? Over your head? Carry him around piggy-back style?
