Hm? Glass on the ground?

...no, this looks like part of Master Muschio's crystal ball. It must have chipped when he dropped it.

Good idea. I'll make a note to make the lever less obvious.

I don't want to return you to Master Muschio. I like having a window into his brain.

And I'm not going to poke Tislomer with a sharp shard.

>"Oh! Good morning Finnie."
The Kobolds have trouble with my name, so they've replaced it with another that takes just as long to say.
"'morning."

I join Tislomer in sketching on the blackboard for now.

Don't listen to the others, Finesse. We're happy to be with you. As long as Muschio's orb is otherwise intact and functional, I see no reason we can't stay with you.

Why don't you get to work on some sort of gadget? If the noise in there is too much, and whatever you decide to work on is not too conspicuous, then you could take a few tools and go work outside. You know, get some fresh air. If you decide to do this, put on something a little less revealing first, however.

The poison dart gun might help as an offensive poison-delivery system, but I don't think I could come up with all the parts unless we got an armorer to help.

Well, the spring for a dart gun only needs to be strong enough to fling something a short distance and pierce skin.
And not tough skin, either, I don't doubt anything with thicker than normal skin is going to be resistant or immune to poison anyway.
The poison can wait. Get out the springs and try to fling little sharp things accurately across the room.

Well, here's an easily concealable dart launcher. The launcher can be worked into a bracer and worn under clothing. It requires only a small amount of force to trigger, so a casual touch to the forearm could do it. We are missing a few parts, though.

Let me see. Tube can probably be made from wood. the thing that pushes the dart can too. However, wood is less durable than I'd like for these components. Spring must be metal. And strong, the spring is the main functional component. That's what provides power, while the smooth- and strait-ness of the pipe provide accuracy. Darts can be wood.

Then we should get Babrakus to make us a casing/bracer as well as a small wooden disc to sit on the end of the spring. Well, as soon as he's done with that bed.

It's going to be difficult to procure a spring of the exact size we need, however. I suggest we check the dungeon's existing traps for one, otherwise we might have to make our own. Then again, we might be able to get someone from a town to make one for us, since we don't seem to have a metalworker among us.

In any case, I'm going to find that guy who drew Muschio in a skirt and punch him in the dick.
