regardless, being able to at least levitate would make falling off of something flying not that big a deal.

Just sliiide into the cannon!

>>182516

I like the way you think. It'd be totally easier to change a kobold into a nedynvor than to figure out how to make a kobold get off the ground. Why not have both? You could have nedynvor with rocket boosters!
>>

My parents aren't that fuckin big of a deal, but you don't think so. But yes, I'd guess that would fuckin work.
>>182609
You like the way I think? Thank you, but I know I'm fuckin awesome already. And I have no idea what a rocket is.
>>
No. 182723 ID: c4c313

>>182621

Rocket means to hurtle quickly through the air. Rocket boosters boost your flying speed, so that you rocket. Totally safe and not at all risky, I assure you. At any rate we need to tell Nirblim about your levitation idea.

And fine, I can stop complimenting you if you really want it.

if you build them right, then yes they are safe. best test them on something else first but if it works then you will be the the fastest flier in the world.

Hey, I didn't fuckin say 'stop complimenting me'! Quit putting words in my mouth! And I'll let you fuckin go over to Nir if you apologize for being so fuckin annoying.

Alright sorry, it's difficult to problem solve.

Hey what about zebras? You can't ride on but they could.

Zebras? Fuck, I forgot Rojo has one. I wonder where the fuck it is. They run almost as fast as nedynvor fly.

Better ask her. Where is she now?

She's sitting by the fuckin fire drawing in the dirt with a stick. I walk over to her.
Carg:"Rojo, didn't you have a fuckin zebra?"
Rojo:"Yes."
Carg:"Where the fuck is it?"
Rojo:"It's somewhere around the spring in the forest. I think."
Carg:"You and Nir are goin to fuckin need it. I'm going to be flying tomorrow."
Rojo:"Noted."

Now that I think Carg's done asking me questions, I should get back to thinking about the time and place of the date with Xom. Uggh... I have absolutely no idea where to go...

How about go to the home of the Nedynvor? I hear that place is lovely this time of year.

i was thinking the moon. watching the sun rise over the earth is a sight to behold.
>>
No. 183542 ID: 34470e

>>183526
The moon? I have absolutely no idea if he'd enjoy it. I also have absolutely no idea what's even on the moon.
>>183525
This sounds like a more reliable idea. At least we know it's a town, not like the moon. Seriously, all I know about the moon is that it creates darkness.
>>
No. 183547 ID: 1ac39d

the moon is just a giant ball of rock that is very very very high up. it spins around the world. without it the waters of the world would be still and lifeless. i suggested the moon because you could see the earth from it. seeing the entire thing is astounding. also it would be very original and unique. anyone can go to a town for a date, but the moon?
>>
No. 183559 ID: 34470e

>>183547
Just a giant ball of rock? I don't think there'd be much to do there but watch the earth and talk. Then again, Xom can summon things out of thin air. Okay, we'll go to the moon. Now... when should I go?
>>
No. 183562 ID: 1ac39d

let's see... transport is no obstacle. would say the next time the sun and the moon are in the sky at the same time, would have the earth be well illuminated.
>>
No. 183589 ID: 34470e

>>183562
It's settled then. I'll go the next time both the moon and the sun are visible. ...Huh. Carg dropped his sword here. I wonder if it really does talk.
>>

Just a giant ball of rock?

JUST a giant ball of rock?

The moon is an incredibly huge sphere formed of a terrible collision splitting the planet in twain back when the earth was still molten and glowing. The planet and its smaller half were knocked into a dizzyingly fast spin because of it, bringing about the days and nights that last for 1 day, not for months, and thus enabling all of life to exist at all! The moon is mostly rock, cooled rock as it being smaller than the earth has cooled faster over the eons, and pock marked with craters from where space rocks crashed into the moon, shielding the earth from them. The unimaginable time spent under this barrage has covered its surface in a fine layer of dust. Moon dust, if you will, that to this day has never seen a mortal footprint indent its surface.

I would never call it a giant rock. It's the sister of sunlight. The daybringer. The tide puller. It's the moon!

That said, the moon is really cold and you can't breathe there, and the sunlight is deadly (like how it would be on a mountain taller than any mountain you've been on) so it probably wouldn't make a great picnic spot. I still say a town full of Nedynvor off in the mountains somewhere would be suitably impressive.

she is going out on a date with a god, pretty sure he can fix those problems.

So Xom can create breathable air? Hmmm... I pick up the sword.
zero

Zero? What's that supposed to mean?

ask it, direct your thoughts towards it instead of us. or maybe verbally? i dunno. see which get's a response.

yes i can

What do you mean by 'zero'?
zero have been slain

zero have been transfered

i transfer the strength of those slain to the wielder

oh... um... huh. so torus has a sword just like this one? interesting, what would she need that for?
>>
No. 183997 ID: 34470e

>>183994
I... don't know. Maybe she thought she was weak? Weak like I am? I need strength... but how do I change the sword so I don't have to kill anyone in order to get it?
>>
No. 183999 ID: 1ac39d

killing a madman because he was trying to kill a loved one would be an act of good. so, in spite of it being a sword, use it as a shield, to protect all that is dear to you.
>>
No. 184002 ID: 34470e

>>183999
A shield... Yes, I'll use it to protect. That is, if Carg will let me. I head on over to Carg.
Rojo:"Carg?"
Carg:"Yeah?"
Rojo:"Is it okay if I can use this sword?"
Carg:"What the fuck ever. Go ahead. I only stole it because I fuckin can."
Okay, if I'm going to be using this sword, I need to practice with it. Is there a proper way to practice?
>>
No. 184007 ID: 1ac39d

yes, the first course is to be able to do 1000 overhead slashes with it in a row, no breaks. just raise it over your head and swing it as hard as you can in front of you. this get's your arms and hands used to swinging it. trying anything else wouldn't work right because your arms aren't accustomed to it.
>>
No. 184012 ID: 34470e

>>184007
1000... That's a lot. I start practicing. Is there anything you'd like to as me, or should I send you to someone?

na, i think were good for now, send us too.... your pick.
>>

Okay, I'll send you... to... uh... I don't know. Want to talk with Arkan? If not, you can just have him send you back to me and I'll try again. Please don't hate me for it.

Man, I still wish Des didn't have to go. Fighting him was so much fun!
>>
No. 184023 ID: 1ac39d

totally looked like you were having the best time ever. learn anything from it? like, better ways to fight.
>>
No. 184024 ID: 34470e

>>184023
Why would I need to learn anything? I was doing fine against him. He's really good at dodging.
>>
No. 184025 ID: 1ac39d

then obviously you need to train so you can punch faster, so that next time you see him you can actually hit him. best way to do that is to make it harder for you to do it. have someone tie a bunch of rocks to your claws and then just do whatever. after a few days you take the rocks off and your arms will go faster.
>>
No. 184031 ID: 34470e

>>184025
Tying rocks to my hands so I can punch faster? That seems weird, but if it'll make me fight better, I'll do it. I walk over to Carg, since Rojo's busy swinging a sword.
Arkan:"Carg, I want you to find some rocks for me and tie them on my pincers."
Carg:"And why the fuck should I do that?"
Arkan:"It'll help me fight better."
Carg:"...What the fuck will you do for me if I do it?"
>>
No. 184033 ID: 1ac39d

"i'll owe you one" that's the best i got for what you could give him.
>>
No. 184041 ID: 34470e

>>184033
I have no idea what that means, but I'll say it anyway.
Arkan:"I'll owe you one."
Carg crosses his wings for a second and looks at me with a weird look on his face.
Carg:"Fine... Think about that fuckin favor. You have until I get back from my fuckin hometown."
Carg and I go into the woods to search for rocks. We gather up some, and he ties them to my pincers. Then he leaves to go to bed. What should I do now?
>>
No. 184097 ID: 0b2a05

Punch a post of course!
>>
No. 184100 ID: 68b807

>>184097
This, until either your arms get tired or you have other activities to do. Do this every day.
If it gets easy, move up to a rock or something.
>>
No. 184103 ID: 34470e

>>184097
>>184100
I don't see any posts, so I'll just punch some trees. I begin. I punch slower. I thought you said punching with rocks tied to me would make me punch faster.
>>
No. 184104 ID: 68b807

>>184103
Alright.
This is how this works.
It slows you down now, but if you can strain yourself to punch as quickly as you did without the rocks reliably, then when you remove the rocks you'll actually punch faster and harder.
>>
No. 184117 ID: 34470e

>>184104
Oh. Well, why didn't you say that in the first place? I continue punching the tree. These rocks are pretty heavy. Nirblilm wasn't really all that good at creating me I guess.
>>
No. 184170 ID: 1ac39d

>>184117
well from what we can tell your the first thing he's made and he doesn't seem to know that things as strong as Des exist, if he did he would of made you much stronger.
>>
No. 184185 ID: 34470e

>>184170
Des seemed to only be a little stronger than me. And I think Nirblilm should have studied more before he created me. He made me weak. I have to train to become stronger when he should have made me the strongest thing ever. I may not be able to do my job to protect the tribe as good as I should.
