I sense the workings complete as the creatures hurl forth odd fireballs, which I easily snuff out. They move forth again, and again I lose my connection with Earth. I let out a silent yell and open my palm, letting my frustration, fear, and anger at these murderers bubble forth in pure, pyroclastic, chaos.
The blast of fire roils forth, eating one alove and destrying it, but it hits a strange... barrier? before the other is touched. J runs to her spear, seemingly unable to access the winds to call it back, and I think I'm going to die when a huge, armored man literally falls on it, crushing it beneath his body. He stands, draws a blade, and motions us to leave, as he slays another that had crept out as he appeared.
