Yo, it's Tacobird! Damnit, what the hell is doing. Guess we don't actually get to be in two places at once.
Okay, as I was going to do before, here's a recap of what's going on. You probably know a bit of this already, but there's no harm in being thorough.
The Golden Empire are a transuniversal empire in a war against the Machine, who are probably constructs based around kaier crystals created by the Golden Empire. The Empire set Terea up as a secret weapon for this war, which I'm betting is probably related to the Conduit Towers. However, one of those towers accidentally got activated recently (by Us and Teteke over there), which has alerted the Machine to the the Empire's presence here, and most notably, of the craftkind being kaierminded. Oh, yeah, the Craftkind are actually pretty intelligent, apparently. But yeah, that pissed them off, probably reminding them of their own (speculated) history, and now they're invading Terea to wipe you all out. It appears you're dream was a bit off in that they don't want you dead just yet, since Ir is bound to you. They're probably after Teteke and whoever Th's bound to, too. Teteke's that cenesu you just met, that we're bound to, at least sometimes, by the way. Au's also hanging around him. Speaking of us, we're the Thousandfold, who've fought for both the Empire and the Machine dozens of times across the span of the war. That's mainly because we lose our memory whenever we're not bound to anyone, thanks to a deal we made with Truth, that stand up guy you just met. We traded our memory for all the knowledge in the world, which I hope we had some pretty extreme circumstances surrounding that, otherwise it means we were once even dumber than we are now. On the matter of Truth, it turns out we had some debt left over from that deal, which we used to pay off your friend's over there. Might want to mention that to him. Back to the war, though, both sides seem to hate us for some of the shit we've done to them, though also view us as a valuable asset, despite our only ability seeming to give various degrees of helpful advice to a handful of people. As for our opinion on the matter this time around, I at least wouldn't want to be working for either side, though stopping the Machine from destroying Terea should be our first move. And to start on that, we're going to warn Seawind. And I believe that brings us up to speed.
As for an actual course of action now, go ask what the hell Teteke's doing. Call him Tacobird, he should be able to figure out what's going on from that. We left him off in Conduit Tower Seven, without even a plan of what to do next, so we've got no idea what he's doing here. Oh, yeah, that thing around his wrist is enchanted with telekinetic perpuation magic, for reference.
After that, though the consensus seems to be on head to Rillford, I think you might want to ask about that umbral Lesin knows, first. Going to Seawind is apparently safer and faster, and this is a pretty urgent situation, so if he won't be that useful, we might want to skip him and come back after Seawind knows what's going on. The giant metal thing we saw crashed into an ocean somewhere, so they might in more danger, being near the coast, too.
And finally, there's the issue of you. We didn't really get a chance to get acquainted earlier, thanks to some interruptions. I've gathered you're in a magic academy of some sort in Southfort, so far. A little personal history would be nice.
