Before, you were only really concerned about your DS. Now... you need to worry about Iffy. Would losing her make you upset enough to smash the orb?

The orb is pretty obsessed about sex. Has your relationship progressed that far yet? If not... the orb may get impatient, and pressure you into doing something that ruins everything.

On the other hand, you could just smash it before something bad happens that you could blame on it. You'll lose your memory though.

The only parting advice I would leave is that you should try cleanly cutting the orb into pieces, or just take a chunk off of it.
