Alex manages through a line of questions and statements to re-write Tessa so that she believes that she is Alex's friend, a former double agent for the resistance and that she trusts Alex completely.

She explains that she works for the Red Queen because she "Likes to hurt people." She believes she is in the resistance base.

Tessa explains she escaped her previous bonds simply because they were tied poorly, and that she would never dream of escaping her current bonds because she trusts Alex knows what he is doing.

As Alex gets to his final questions, Tessa admits that even she knows of no way to defeat the Red Queen, but has heard her say that the Jabberwocky can withstand her magic. unfortunately, the Jabberwocky has not been seen for many years.

She suggests Alex finds the jabberwocky if he wishes for success.

Quick, she's looking away. Whisper in her ear that she is secretly attracted to blondes.

Alex then walks over to his prisoner and leans in to whisper in her ear anyways. He tells her that she is secretly attracted to him, and she begins blushing furiously and staring at him. For the hell of it, he convinces her she is slightly less attracted to Lily.

Alex unties Tessa and wraps the cloth used for bonds into a makeshift outfit for her again.

Once she is clothed, Alex asks her where to find the Jabberwocky, and she tells him of a cave deep in the forest that she stumbled upon as a little girl.

Alex takes a look at his companions, and think over the day. He decides that maybe the quest can wait until tomorrow morning.
