If it wasn’t for gravity, what would you be able to accomplish?

It would be very difficult to live without gravity, that's for sure. Nothing would be keeping the earth together. Or the sun.

The crippling weight of existential angst can sometimes feel like gravity though.

Without the oppression of gravity’s pull we would be free. To fly, roam, and truly thrive. However, without its pull, orbital bodies would be able to move just as freely as us. It would be replacing one tyrannical ruler with another. The moon scares me, and I don’t ever want to see it unshackled from the sky.

Well that’s the thing, is this what I want to dedicate my life to? To take on this impossible task with almost no chance of success? Although the alternative is never fully dedicating myself to anything in my life. So uh... yeah. Fuck it. How do I kill a moon?

The dumb option would be to strap a rocket to the moon and fire it against the Earth until it crashes through.

The smart option would be to use electricity. Wire the moon so thoroughly it gets reclassified as a supercomputer. Then magnet the sucker out of orbit.

Yeah, we can turn the moon into a giant, floating orb of electricity and wiring. In a way, it’s giving the orbiting rock an electrical heart. A heart that will be destroyed upon completion. Perfect.

Before that though, I need to change. With how I’m living now, I’m a mess. I can’t do this with who I am or with how I see the world. I need to be someone else, someone who’s better then I am. I need a name, a face, a new appearance or just some way to distance myself. Give me a chance to be someone else.
