Stargazer appears to give it some consideration and then eventually nods.

"Good. Now this has been a very long day, so I'll let you finish for the evening. Go see how your wizard has survived potion-making with Doyle and working on statue repair. I'm going to lie down." I wave goodbye as I exit my half excavated new Heart Chamber.

Stargazer goes to the potion brewery to try to find at least one wizard.

"Stargazer!" Reisarf says. "It's you! I missed you! Deem didn't work you too hard did she?" Stargazer hugs him.

"Oh it wasn't that bad was it? Let me tell you about my day. We're just finishing up some test potions, see what you think!"

Potion of Stone Mist (Overlapple + Rockfruit): This potion starts evaporating into a gray mist when heated. Living creatures feel heavier and slowier as they continue to be exposed to the mist.

"Deem wanted something to help her golems in fights," Reisarf says, "so I think this might work well! I don't know what happens if someone drinks it. I don't think it'll affect plants either."

Potion of Heavy Chest (Kindly Mushroom + Rockfruit): The famous boob grow juice. Modest effect. Extreme duration!

"I was a little surprised this mix wanted to do this so strongly. Maybe it was a combination of physical enhancement and making it 'heavy'? I'm glad though, I feel bad that we messed up the biggening thing!"

Potion of Condensed Activity (Alien Lard + Kindly Mushroom): This potion greatly magnifies the effects of actions the user takes on the user for the next several minutes after drinking it.

"I wonder if it might well work as an exercise potion? Or a sleeping potion? It's not very strong so I think it might only work for physical actions. I guess it might be an exhaustion potion if you trick someone into drinking it?"

Potion of Alien Form (Alien Lard + Overlapple): The drinker gains some traits of a starspawn, becoming resilient, able to somewhat change shape and having odd interactions with mana.

"It'll make people cute like you, Stargazer!"

"..." Stargazer stares at Doyle.

Doyle looks away. Doyle didn't hear anything.

Potion of Shroomy Sprout (Kindly Mushroom + Overlapple): The drinker swells with strength and sprouts fungal armour.

"I think this might be a good one for the golems again." Reisarf says. "I think it might be a little annoying to take off afterwards."

Potion of Rock Eater (Alien Lard + Rockfruit): A potion that lets the drinker eat rocks. They aren't very nutritious. It lets the drinker safely bite rocks too.

"Do you think different rocks have different tastes?"

Reisarf trails off, pondering this question. Stargazer imagines it too. Teeth are strange. "Oh!" Reisarf says. "We do need to test these batches on people to be sure they work properly. Who do you think we should ask, Stargazer? Oh and golems too!"

Rock biting could help excavate the dungeon faster if you gave it to, say, Chak? He's got a big mouth.
Moriko's got a bit of a mana vacancy problem. Why don't you give her the condensed activity potion to try and improve her sense of self? And the effect of whatever other potion(s) she tries. Like Shroomy Sprout. Or Heavy Chest...
Hin has some spells for using mana, why not give her the Alien Form potion to test? It'd make up for Reisarf turning her into a slime that one time.
How could the golems deploy the Stone Mist? Perhaps they would swallow hot coals before drinking the potion?

Reisarf is already the perfect candidate for the condensed activity potion, you would be able to compare one of the Reisarf's developments versus the other. The results should be most apparent if they swap forms and do that mana-isolation exercise thing.

If you can track down Myaousha, she would be a good candidate for the Potion of Heavy Chest, to give her a BOMB-bastic figure.

This is either going to be the best day of the year or your trip to the resurrection matrix.

First up, brew a few dozen more batches of Potion of Heavy Chest. All we have to do is advertise these and the adventurers will challenge this dungeon in waves.

Stargazer experiences a strange feeling of annoyance.

Even though they're inside the dungeon but Stargazer knows the stars are coming out. Reisarf and Stargazer have their own crude cottage in the hidden valley behind the dungeon.

It's more difficult to communicate with Reisarf in her current state, but Stargazer tries to get some of these new ideas she's awash with over to her alienist.

Stargazer gesticulates frantically. It's imperative they test the Heavy Chest potion on lots of things. Soft and squishy things are fun and lots of adventurers want them. Moriko is probably the most adventurer-like of the dungeon's denizens so it's absolutely imperative they get her to take some, and at least one golem.

Doyle vibrates in agreement. The cauldron gulper will stretch their supply as far as it can.

Next this potion seems to have so many possibilities, so many Stargazer is having trouble making up her mind! They'll definitely have to think over this some more when the time comes.

Stargazer taps a bottle of that potion, and mimes sliding a finger in and out of a loop of her thumb and forefinger.

"Ooooh." Reisarf says. "Well we should save that test for last then."

Stargazer suggests heating and swallowing a rock might work well for getting a golem to act as a mobile mist spreader.

Stargazer flaps her hands together, interlacing her fingers and staring at Reisarf expectantly.

"Right, Chachakablu!" Reisarf says in realisation. Perhaps he's more worn out than Stargazer thought.

Stargazer, Reisarf and Doyle trot off to find Chakarchelou in his new lair. The lizard is easily convinced after Reisarf suggests eating rocks might make him even more popular with Deem (and maybe even lady lizards??).

The cave wurm chomps down on a pile of rocks with manic bravado.

Chakarchelou immediately starts choking on rocks.

Chakarchelou flails, one claw snagging and shredding Stargazer's shirt as she tries to get some rocks out of his mouth.

Oh no, a reduction in clothedness is really terrible for land dwellers! A shameful reduction in status or ability to perform mating displays or some other strange thing. Stargazer doesn't really know.

"Oh no Stargazer, your shirt!" Reisarf says. Chakarchelou coughs up a rock and settles down. "Hmm, I know, Deem gave me that special slime swimsuit, do you want to wear it?"

Stargazer considers her options as Chakarchelou sulkily eats rocks at a more sedate pace.

Could she just go around topless? Stargazer doesn't know, maybe someone would try to stop her. And she has to help Reisarf test all these potions so Deem doesn't get mad, so she'd better play it safe.

Stargazer indicates she'd prefer the swimsuit. Even though she can't swim at the moment, she is a creature of the sea and so that is the best fitting outfit. Reisarf must be thinking the same thing, wanting to see her in her element!

"OK let me get it for you!" Reisarf says.

He removes his hat and glasses so he can then strips off his tabard and shirt. Then he awkwardly pries at the slime swimsuit he was wearing underneath.

Stargazer gets undressed and dons the swimsuit. It is done, she is completely modest again.

"Well done Stargazer!" Reisarf says. Stargaer points at him. "Oh, right!" Reisarf starts getting dressed again.

Now they are both clothed again.

What are the chances that two pieces of clothing get shredded in one day? Stargazer wonders about it. It seems low but, but it's probably much higher than zero.

Stargazer's only link to the world outside right now is through a weird, stiff and bony golem so maybe the swimsuit's poorly understand possibility of magical alteration will help her look and feel more feminine: softer and more noodly.

Stargazer mentally reviews the potion testing so far. Yes they definitely did give Chakarchelou a potion. Maybe he is just bad at eating rocks.

Having recovered, the big lizard attacks another big rock and starts choking again. More evidence he is bad at eating rocks.

Does Deem like cake? This is what Stargazer ponders. They only have the cake mimic and Deem grumbles a lot when she has some cake from it,
but she grumbles about a lot of things that Stargazer thinks she actually likes.

First they have to find Moriko though.

She's in the Meditation Chamber again, along with her mysterious imp shadow.

Stargazer struggles to pay attention as Reisarf says something about how Deem wants potions for some reason and they need people to try them out and Moriko is a person, as is her imp, which seems a little strange as she's a part of Moriko. Can a person actually be two people? But then again Stargazer has two Reisarfs now so maybe this dungeon is actually about very strange ways to have offspring.

She focuses again as Reisarf explains that one of the potions is another biggening thing, which is very popular right now. This seems a good approach. Stargazer knows Moriko is eager about those seeing her lengthy immersions in the potion residue bath in the Thaumatorium over these past few weeks. Her alienist demolishes the bludgeoning angel's doubts by implying it will probably make Deem stare approvingly at her (the highest of praises), something that Moriko coveted even before she acquired her current ring.

Moriko agrees to try the the Heavy Chest potion.

Moriko's imp starts making impatient imp noises. She wants the potion. She wants it now!

Stargazer stares approvingly at Reisarf. He's so incredibly smart!

Moriko and her imp drink the potions. The already top-heavy hammerai's bust blows up into something truly formidable, fighting against her chest bandages. Two anvils to go with her hammer, Stargazer supposes. Her face flushes.

"I see it is... efficacious..." she murmurs. She props up her chest with one arm, getting a feel for the added heft.

Stargaer doesn't know why she's so surprised, she's been extra vulnerable to spell and potion effects for weeks now and foolishly avoided trying practically anything.

"Mow! MOOWWWWW!" Moriko's imp screams in outrage. The potion had no effect on her that Stargazer can see.

"Calm down!" Moriko demands. "What are you- ah?!" the imp leaps at her, grabbing onto her boosted bust and screaming into her cleavage, threatening to unravel the bandages serving Moriko as a bra entirely. This is an outrage, the imp feels. This is the worst thing that has ever happened to anyone ever!

"Maybe imps don't have sexes? Or just don't have breasts?" Reisarf wonders.

Whatever the reason, Moriko's imp is awfully upset about insufficient gender.

Maybe they should test a potion on Reisarf or Stargazer while Moriko gets her imp under control. Or try to help?

Stargazer shares a significant glance with Reisarf and the two spring into action. Stargazer grabs Moriko, Reisarf grabs the imp, and the two are torn apart. Moriko's chest bindings are torn apart too!

Everyone gets an eyeful of the effects of Reisarf and Doyle's hard work. Stargazer stares. That is a lot of titty, she concludes, the potion obviously works effectively on hammerais.

"MOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW!" the imp screams about the unfairness of the universe, wriggling and trying to escape Reisarf's gasp.

"Thank you." Moriko says as she turns away to bind her chest back up. With most of Moriko's chest out of sight, the imp stops screaming for long enough for ideas to be proposed.

Stargazer looks at Reisarf.

"Maybe you just need another chest potion? Or if that doesn't work we can try something else." Reisarf suggests to the test subject in his hands.

"Mow!" the imp agrees.

Doyle rumbles sadly, there's diminishing returns on more chest potions.

Stargazer shoots him a sharp look. Does he want more imp screaming? Doyle dismounts from his cauldron golem steed and hides behind it. Never mind Doyle!

Moriko looks the same, though she should be having the effects of three chest potions by this point if they're shared.

The imp fidgets but puts up with Reisarf's groping due to the power of being promised more potions.

"This is strange, she's furry but I can't even find any nipples." Reisarf says. "I guess imps don't have breasts. Do you think they lay eggs? Are they monotremes?"

"Mowww!" the imp says (she doesn't know).

"What is a monotreme?" Moriko says (she doesn't know).

"It's a furry animal that lays eggs." Reisarf says.

"..." Stargazer says (he's so smart).

Stargazer doesn't know why she keeps getting confused about what that potion does. It magnifies the effect of things the drinker does but only on themselves. Stargazer supposes that probably is self amplification since usually the drinker will continue to exist for that time. Still, it doesn't seem like it'll help.

Even 100 times zero soft and squishy chest lumps would still be zero!

"I should thank you properly." Moriko says, looking over her should as she keeps fidgeting with bandage repairs. Given her worried glance at the imp, Stargazer thinks she might be trying to keep the little demon from thinking back a few more words and screaming more about her insufficiency of gender. "It's silly, it's vain, but I have felt I lack," she pauses she searches for a world, "presence. I was most wretchedly sea sick on my journey here, and I have felt I never quite recovered, with bouts of worry and illness ever since. Even in a little thing," she feels her added heft and smiles wryly, "it feels good to impress, to be looked on favourably."

Doyle peeks out form behind the cauldron golem. Doyle is delighted!

The imp grunts in agreements and then goes "Mowwwwwwww?" plaintively.

"Though I do hope you have something for my imp as well?"

"Oh that's a great idea,Stargazer!" Reisarf says as she makes a wiggly gesture at him. "We can use the potion of alien form and then she can just form breasts!"

The imp immediately becomes rowdy and demands this mythical potion. It glugs it down and then shivers violently, eyes shutting so hard they seem like they vanish, body sprouting magenta patches as some parts elongate and others swell. Colourful new hair obscures half her face and eyes open on her ears then finally she frowns and concentrates and two little peaks appear on her chest, and then suddenly swell as the two potions of Heavy Chest in her system realise they have something to work on.

"MOWWWW!" the imp shrieks joyfully, leaping out of Reisarf's arms and floating as it spins and pirouettes. It seems the potion has even let it inherit some of Stargazer's innate levitation.

"You did it again." Moriko says, walking over to Reisarf as her imp cavorts. Her face is more flushed. "How do you think she looks?"

"She's looking very cute!" Reisarf says.

"And how about me?" the hammerai says, putting one hand on the wall above Reisarf's head as she leans over him. Her chest probably occupies more of his view.

"You're looking impressive!" Reisarf says.

"Mmmmm." Moriko says. "Do you think Deem'll be impressed?"

"I think she likes that sort of thing!" Reisarf happily agrees

"Big chests?" Moriko clarifies.

"Mowww!" her imp shouts happily in the background.

"Oh, she likes all sorts of big things, I think?" Reisarf says.

"So these are big?" Moriko says swaying her chest in his face. She seems to be fishing for compliments.

"Very big!" Reisarf agrees.

Stargazer frowns, something weird is happening. Moriko's threatening to spill out of her redone chest bindings. Wait, her breasts weren't that big a minute ago?

Remind her that she should be showing Deem once she's had a few more potions! After she's gotten rid of her clothes, they're in the way of Deem's inspection and she might tear them anyway if she gets big enough.

Moriko half turns away from Reisarf, uncertain what question Stargazer was agreeing with.

Doyle scuttles up and hands her another potion, settling the matter. Success! Moriko has been distracted from Reisarf for the moment. Stargazer sidles closer, pulling Reisarf away. They can't always let Deem be on top, Stargazer supposes. Adding another potion to the pile hasn't made Moriko much bigger. Stargazer steals another look at Moriko's chest. It draws the eye, heavy presence bouncing and straining against its overloaded fabric confinement as Moriko says something and Stargazer nods again. But she's already very big so that probably makes sense.

Stargazer looks to check again while she plans her next move.

Fat Deem was cuter? What a puzzle, why would Stargazer think that? Is being grumpy cute? Or less boney? That's why the potions of the Heavy Chest are important, probably. She glances at Moriko's chest. Maybe the hammerai needs another potion so they can be sure. Also Stargazer knows she's normally very cute. But Reisarf's bones are cute too. This is difficult!

Absurd! Moriko started bigger, has benefited from three or four Heavy Chest potions now and they're incredibly effective on her. Stargazer would have to drink an enormous amount of potions just to catch up.

Deem, Moriko should go see Deem. This is a very complicated idea to express as a mute golem.

Stargazer makes a Deem face.

The hammerai's arms drop.

"You're right, I should see her... I'm just stalling..." the hammerai says, flushing more.

Moriko leaves the Meditation Chamber. The world feels emptier without Moriko and Moriko's boobs.

Her imp continues to shout "Mow!" in a corner.

"I didn't understand a lot of that, but she was really happy!" Reisarf says. "Maybe you should become a potion seller, Stargazer!"

Maybe they should try an easier sale next. They were going to get a golem to swallow a hot rock and the Stone Mist potion to act as a mobile spreader of debilitating mist. But which golem should they test it on? There's the brutes, the woody ones, homunuculi and a bunch of one off designs to choose from!

Stargazer's alienist steps up and reaches up. His hands squeezes and fondles her chest to wrangle the slime swimsuit into unsticking from its current configuration and correctly supporting her breasts. She regrets its over quickly.

Her face feels flushed. The golems Deem makes are so packed with bizarre features.

Moriko did! Maybe it's a side effect? For now at least it'll be easier to test some potions without her chest dominating the scene.

They leave Moriko's imp behind in the Meditation Chamber. She's still screaming to herself and fondling herself. She should be easy to find if they want to test any more potions.

At the Golem Totem there's some golems milling around. It's time to pick one.

Because it's one of Merud's experiments using the serum gland to slowly replicate the overapple potion. The one that's mainly been given to Hin to see what qualities and resources she can push past their normal maximums.

They're not sure what just drinking this potion might do to someone, so it's a variable to eliminate!

Stargazer is pretty sure their stomachs aren't lined with wood so it would be fine regardless. But maybe they shouldn't have the woody golems swallow any hot rocks just in case.

Doyle doesn't think it'll work well if aerosolised but yes they should test this anyway.

They hand the golem two potions to drink. Stargazer holds on to the hot rocks they've procured from the heater for the bath. It's almost painfully hot, this should work well!

Thankfully here in the Golem Totem the golems can be made to understand orders without a golemeter on hand.

The handy brute stares placidly at the pair of potions in its palm, then with great delicacy manipulates its other giant stone hand to pull out the corks and then drink the the potions.

Stargazer hands the golem the rocks next and it swallows them down like pills.

Whoops, they might have rushed ahead!

Mist suddenly gushes out of the golem's mouth as it exhales. It's thick stuff, it's hard to see through it!

Stargazer feels fine but Reisarf gives a sluggish shout of alarm and Doyle's probably affected too. The other golems here should be fine too.

They need to get away or stop the golem putting out so much mist. And they probably should figure out who they're actually going to test the sluggishness (and possible chest enhancement) of the Stone Mist (with added Heavy Chest) potion.

Despite her normally excellent eyesight, Stargazer's struggling to find Reisarf in amidst the humanoid figures gently milling around in the mist.

She steps forward and instead of Reisarf she almost stumbles into the gardener golem, holding a large stone sword, that seems vaguely excited at this mysterious phenomena that might mean a possible attack.

Another fews steps and she finds the golem that was based on Merud's small golemeter friend who probably wants to be more than friends.

"Stargazer!" Reisarf calls out.

Oh right humans can use their words.

She stares at and then carries her alienist. Stargazer stands in the Golem Totem's speaking platform so Reisarf can give a verbal order to the handy brute.

"Please walk through the dungeon, brute golem!" Reisarf says.

A looming figure in the mist turns and leaves.

His movements seem a bit clumsy, as do Doyle's as the cauldron gulper emerges from a corner, but the potion seems to exchange intensity for spread.

Deem told them to make potions, and testing if they work properly should be fine.

Unless they start doing things like mixing them together like they just did...

Wait no Doyle said it was fine, and Doyle was their very responsible head of potion making. The experiment has been authorised!

... Maybe they need to still be careful though.

They also need to learn if the potion admixture did anything. Reisarf is a boy and Doyle is a pot. Looking at the golems, it's hard to tell if anything's different, but Reisarf has an idea.

"Everyone, could you line up and take off your shirts?" Reisarf says. "Thank you!"

The golems still in the room mill around and then line up and shed their upper garments. This means some complication with Centaur, as her golemeter robes are technically part of her amalgamate body but still an attempt is made.

Stargazer is a little puzzled why the golems show different responses to such a simple order and why they all have different chest designs but then again Deem seems to incorporate all sorts of unnecessary things into her golems.

"Oh adding the other potion to the mist doesn't seem to have affected their chests at all?" Reisarf says after he and Stargazer finish scrutinising a set of golem chests. It could be they didn't get enough of a dose, or it doesn't work how they thought it would, or the golems being immune to the mist effect stopped the Heavy Chest potion working too.

Doyle bobs in agreement.

"But you are a little chestier, Stargazer." Reisarf adds. "I think the swimsuit is working. Well done!"

So she is. Was it just coincidence or did the potion or something else trigger it, Stargazer wonders? Potions are very mysterious!

Before they move on to find out what effects the mist has on others in the dungeon, they have some golems here they could test for any lingering effects. They wanted to at least test the Shroomy Sprout potion on a golem too.

Ride Centaur carrying Reisarf. You know you want to! She can be a knight in shroomy armor.

The Gardner golem seems like the most thematically appropriate one to test the shroomy sprout potion on.

Mist the shroomy sprout potion. For Science. Nothing can go wrong!

Stargazer is pretty sure whatever Centaur has going on is more complicated than that, but thinks she'd better steer clear of the amalgamated golem to be safe.

This seems like a good idea. Stargazer will carry Reisarf in her arms to a golem to administer the potion, and then Reisarf can look approvingly at Stargazer while Stargazer observes the golem for changes.

The gardener golem is given the potion and mushrooms sprout all over her in a thick, spongy layer of protective armour.

They've tested everything but the Potion of Condensed Activity now, though some perhaps could use more testing to better understand their full capabilities.

Doyle helpfully provides a tally of their remaining potions.

They have one more Potion of Stone Mist, one of Shroomy Sprout, two doses each of Alien Form and Rock Eater, and three Potions of Condensed Activity.

Quite a few Potions of Heavy Chest have been used, but they still have about half a dozen doses left, depending on how much Doyle's able to stretch the supply. They should pick a golem to use a potion of Heavy Chest on, since they were thinking about testing the effectiveness on golems when they first discussed it.

Is there anything they should do to test the effectiveness of Shroomy Sprout? At a minimum they need to find out how hard it is to get those mushrooms back off.

After getting Reisarf back inside to give the order, Centaur drinks the potion and there's the sound of fabric tearing as the golem now has two bulging breasts mostly exposed.

The golem feels the heft of her right breast, apparently dismayed at the damage to her robe.

Doyle rattles in excitement. The potion was stronger than it should have been! A modest increase to an already immodest chest would barely be noticeable, but that's hardly the case here. Maybe instead of having any effect by itself, mixing the Heavy Chest potion with the Stone Mist potion sensitised creatures to the potion!

Reisarf blinks in confusion, having trouble deciphering the mute enthusiasm of an animate cauldron, and looks to Stargazer for clarification.

Stargazer exaggeratedly exhales, and then raises one hand to hover above one of her golem body's breasts. She mimes groping a larger, invisible sphere that has a common center with that breast.

"Oh, I understand everything now!" the alienist says.

Reisarf is starting to feel lighter and reports a faint pins-and-needles sensation all over his body. It looks like the Stone Mist's effects only linger for a few minutes at most.

But Stargazer had better keep carrying him to be safe.

The golems conveniently have a variety of weapons at hand. It seems pretty tough so far against both piercing and slashing weapons.

They will have to head back to Chakarchelou's lair to test fire!

But for bludgeoning maybe they should try something bigger.

They don't have the brute golem here any more, but they do have Centaur!

Stargazer tells Reisarf to tell Centaur to hit the gardener golem once with full force.

Bits of mushroom explode everywhere. The gardener golem staggers backwards and then sits abruptly. Stargazer's surprised it wasn't sent flying.

Centaur seems to be as strong as a brute golem? Maybe stronger! The armour might deliberately ablate as a buffer against massive hits?

The golem still seems substantially intact, there's still mushrooms and a mycelium under-layer bravely clinging on.

"Oh those are new?" Reisarf says, pointing out the golem's abs.

The potion is supposed to provide some physical enhancement, but it looks like normally you can't see what it's done because of the mushroom layer.

However, Stargazer is getting a little frustrated. It's good carrying Reisarf around, but this is making it very easy for him to get distracted by the testing instead of observing Stargazer observing the testing like was the plan.

That sounds interesting but they don't have anything called a manashroom! Stargazer assumes she's thinking about a mushroom with mana intensive properties.

They have the Green Thumb mushrooms which help plants grow, and the Kindly Mushrooms which promote health and healing. Though none of those are here in the Golem Totem right now.

Reisarf has to bow out of any freezing testing, as he's not supposed to be using spells without Deem's permission right now.

That leaves fire (Chakarchelou) and acid (slimes) as things that should be relatively easy to test.

Stargazer is conflicted as she, Reisarf, Doyle and the gardener golem head deeper into the dungeon.

Hin seems to like trying these sorts of things, but it's tempting to find Reisarf's other other half and finish the evening with him.

Heading into the hall they see fog from the direction of the slime pits.

One of the Alkalines - the tall one - is approaching towing the handy brute with a familiar looking expression of vexed consternation on her face. She really has grown up just like Deem.

"Why is this golem wandering around leaking smoke that's turning my slimes into puddles and making me blow up?" she demands. "I only just slimmed back down! How do you stop it?"

That introduces two interesting facts: Stone Mist seems very effective as a counter to common slimes, and Alkaline's Inimical Inversion seems to be changing the effects of the Stone Mist and Heavy Chest admixture to make her body heavy in a different way!

She also seems grumpy, how are they going to get her acid?

Vigorous sexual intercourse could solve both the grump and the lack of acid.

If you give the golem some slime milk, that should put out the hot coals she swallowed! But look, you and this golem sitting in a sauna could train your toxic shroud easily.
Offer Kali a condensed activity potion to help slim down faster. And a Rock Eater potion, because what better way to train than breaking up rocks? Any leftover slime can be delegated, or turned into milk. Just how volatile is that slime milk, anyway...
Finish the evening with Hin and that alien form potion. That should eke the most chaos science out of the day.

Stargazer and Reisarf try offering an explanation and a potion.

"I don't know, I got in a lot of trouble because of your illicit potion parties before, I don't know if I want to get involved again!" she sniffs.

"Oh but these are very good potions!" Reisarf volunteers. He shows off the Potion of Alien Form. "This one lets people change shape."

"I can do that already." Alkaline yawns.

"Oh maybe it can do other things too!"

"Like?"

"We don't know yet." Reisarf looks at Alkaline's blank expression and then magnificently rallies with the Potion of Heavy Chest. "This one makes chests bigger! It's very popular"

"Bet I could do that too." Alkaline says, picking at one of her claws.

"Oh well this one lets you eat rocks!"

"Why would I want to eat rocks?" Alkaline says.

"They might be delicious?" Reisarf ventures.

"Trying to stay slim remember?"

"Oh this one might help you lose weight then!" Reisarf says, showing off the Potion of Condensed Activity.

"Might?"

"We haven't tested it yet!"

The Potion of Stone Mist and Potion of Shroomy Sprout also fail to impress.

"Why don't you try making some good potions?" Alkaline suggests.

Doyle slumps in dismay.

If you say something like "we're doing our best to follow Deem's instructions", and give Alkaline a meaningful look, I'm pretty sure she'll make assumptions that make her want to help out if we ask her to.
Stargazer manages to communicate this to Reisarf, who passes this on to Alkaline.

"Are you suuuure?" Alkaline says.

Of course they're sure, why is Alkaline asking a dumb and unhelpful question like this?

They'll have to get it back to the Golem Totem, maybe that'll make Alkaline more agreeable.

But despite placidly letting Alkaline tow it thus far though, the golem suddenly digs in its heels when they try to turn off the hallway.

Alkaline gives it a tug but it doesn't want to move.

Reisarf again relays this innovative new idea. Alkaline grumbles some more but leans in to kiss the golem and -

The golem suddenly shoves Alkaline!

She staggers into Stargazer, whose grip on Reisarf starts to slip, but before she can do anything the golem grabs the alienist with its free hand. Still gushing mist out of its mouth the golem starts to guardedly retreat deeper into the dungeon.

Well now Stargazer doesn't want to!

How dare that golem do this?! Why does everyone want to steal Stargazer's wizard?! They need to save him from its clutches right away!

"Don't look at me, it was picking up slimes too." Alkaline huffs. She looks closer at Stargazer and her expression softens. "But calm down! No need to look so upset, it'll probably put him down in a minute!"

Stargazer is very calm!

Stargazer has herself (technically not herself), Alkaline, Doyle, the cauldron golem and the garden golem. 80% of the party is mute and the last one is EVIL. They have various potions which supposedly aren't very good.

How are they going to save Reisarf?

So the golem's instructions are to walk around the dungeon and pick people up. Maybe its as easy as going to a part of the dungeon it hasn't walked through yet and waiting for it to pick up someone else so it drops Reisarf.

Or you know ambush it, spill something on the floor for it to slip on.

Stargazer, why don’t YOU take that condensed activity and alien form potion? You might be able to tap into a little of that… you know… giant alien dungeon you got goin on.

It's not evil. She just grew up and became an adult, where she's making an attempt to be a little more responsible and not cause as much chaos as she used to around the dungeon.

And responsibility sometimes involves being a killjoy to try to get you and Reisarf to calm down with your craziness. Which might be for the best, considering how your craziness is what's caused you to be stuck in this body instead of your own body.

Stargazer frantically waves and stares. Reisarf has to turn into a girl!

She thinks about why.

If Reisarf gets heavier, the golem will be more likely to put him down, and girl Reisarf is heavier.

She winks and flails some more as the fog thickens. Reisarf has to make herself as heavy as possible! This is absolutely imperative!

"OK Stargazer, love you!" Reisarf says as the billowing fog closes in, making more meaningful stares impossible.

There's no time! Besides, that one is just following and vaguely smiling. Though this is possibly some sort of display of golem solidarity: enjoying watching another golem get away with kidnapping a real boy or girl. Another unnecessary feature!

Obviously it made their bodies too heavy so they're collapsed into sad puddles in the slime pit instead of blobbing around as happy shapes.

The golem slips and falls!

Alkaline tackles the golem, leaping on top of it's prone form. One huge hand is still clinging on to Reisarf as the two wrestle on the floor.

The two are engaged in a sort of high stakes kiss-off, probably because of Alkaline being adult or just angry her last attempt was knocked back. Alkaline is trying to force the golem to swallow enough slime that it cools those rocks it swallowed and stops the potion reacting, but without getting lungfuls of condensed Stone Mist herself!

Stargazer should figure out how to pry Reisarf free from the golem's grasp!

Or maybe, just maybe, help Alkaline first?

Golems don't understand non-golemeters normally, that's why they have to go to the Golem Totem to give orders!

Stargazer tries tickling the golem's arm. It is a rock. This golem don't seem to be particularly ticklish, either because bafflingly Deem didn't decide to add this particular unnecessary feature, or she built it out of rocks which are not ticklish rather than other, ticklish, rocks she might have used.

She collects a fresh potion off Doyle and pours it in Reisarf's mouth! Her alienist is definitely looking larger and heavier, which is making it harder for the golem to hold onto her.

"Oh good thinking Stargazer!" Reisarf says. "I'm trying to move some mana around to help too!"

Yes, that'll help get things moving too. Stargazer steps in next to where Reisarf is still suspended in the golem's arm and kisses her. The alienist's lips still have the sweet taste of that potion. This is good. The two squirm against the prison of the golem's grip to get a better angle, its fingers are loosening.

The mist is clearing out because the new supply is stuck in a golem and a slime.

Alkaline's outer slime seems to have been congealed from too big a dose of the Stone Mist potion, locking the two in an intimate tableau! She's still making some noises, so she's not entirely frozen. The golem seems resigned to its kissy fate, maybe it's weighed down by the concentrated potion too.

Well Alkaline being very serious about her own plan doesn't seem to have helped much at all!

Based on what Stargazer knows of Alkaline's abilities, the slime will eventually escape once she converts this the Stone Mist's effects into something else, but it looks like there might be a wait!

This will make it hard to test acid on mushroom armour.

They hear a pattering of little imp feet and Moriko's imp dashes into the scene. She looks at Reisarf, Stargazer and Doyle expectantly.

"Mow!" the imp declares.

This seems to mean. "Behold, I have returned! Give me more potions!"

"Mowwww!"

This one seems to have more subtext about how the imps needs more potions because they are tasty and will make her more magical, hand them over now.

It looks like this imp is going to be underfoot if they don't find some way to appease her too!

Should they help Alkaline, and what are they going to do about this imp?

Use the imp to store excess stone mist, of course.

Stargazer would need a way to get it out of two lip-locked ladies first. Well, approximations of ladies.

It probably would, but Reisarf isn't meant to be casting spells unsupervised right now.

Reisarf passes on Stargazer's suggestion that Moriko's imp fully learn how to use the other abilities the potions have given her first.

Moriko's imp pouts. It let her grow titties (the most important thing), and she has hair now, and she was a floaty for a bit but that stopped working for a bit when she ran into some weird mist. Also she can see out of her ears for some reason, but that's not the important thing. The important thing was letting the other potions work so she'd have tits.

Stargazer and Reisarf share a look. It looks like Stone Mist helps suppress levitation effects! The imp's helped a little at least. Maybe they could try seeing if an aliened form can eat raw mana? But that could go badly wrong if the imp decides that's another potion to glut herself on.

The imp also failed to mention the potion made her cuter, but there's no need for Reisarf to bring that up.

This will be two Heavy Chests, one Alien Form and one Shroomy Sprout.

Doyle rattles nervously, too many potions at once can get a little unpredictable. Or worse, just not very effective.

There's no need for Reisarf to explain, the imp immediately gulps the potion down when offered it.

Mushrooms sprout and the imp is safely padded in a thick coat of fungal armour.

"MOOOOWW!" she screams in outrage. This armour is unflattering! You can't see anything but a pudgy layer of mushrooms!

Amazingly, terribly, awfully unfair the imp screams. In just one evening she's once again been the one person to have the worst thing that has ever happened happen to her!

This potion has just made things worse!

The imp's cries abruptly drops in volume as a serious looking Moriko enters the hallway, and this is apparently enough to impose a little discipline on the imp. Her chest is also looking very serious and imposing, but sadly it is more covered up by a change of outfit.

Stargazer frowns slightly. What a strange thought to have.

"I must apologise, upon finding Deem was resting I elected to find a better fitting outfit for when she does wake when perhaps I should have kept a closer eye on my little disciple." Moriko says.

"I heard the yelling." she adds by way of explanation as the imp keeps grumbling to herself, eyeing Moriko and trying to work out how good an idea it is to start yelling again.

"It's fine, you look nice!" Reisarf traitorously immediately lets the hammerai off the hook.

Moriko flushes a little more at the praise. "I..."

A shudder runs through her, and she stares off into infinity.

The hammerai's about to experience the effects of Alien Form. It looks like giving a potion to the imp makes the previous potion effect (slowly?) copy to Moriko! Another discovery! Exciting!

But there's too much going on now! Moriko's imp is about to start another tantrum, they still need acid and then fire for mushroom testing, Alien Form still isn't very tested, Stargazer has to protect Reisarf from Moriko's renewed attention, and she thinks she's forgetting some other thing. Especially important is keeping Reisarf safe from Moriko's lascivious gaze and possible tentacles. Reisarf has been too imperiled today! How is she going to deal with all this?!

You may also suggest elements of Moriko's Alien Form.

Someone must succumb to Moriko's affections, it might as well be you. it's the only way Reisarf can continue testing with Hin!

Moriko's alien form: Big and imposing, for a kabedon-don-DON. A long neck. A hammerhead shark face for a hammerhead samurai.

Also, tell the imp that fire will burn away the mushrooms, she'll seek out fire for you and that's one element type tested!

Yeah, definitely giving the second one to Reisarf later.

Explain that you can help with the mushroom armor. It can be trimmed, maybe so that her curves are revealed but there's still some left to the imagination? That makes it sexier, generally.
But we need to test acid and fire on the mushrooms so that's how we're going to trim it.

We can go visit the forge for easy access to fire. I think Chakarchelou is too busy eating rocks to help.
For acid... oh, Moriko can crack Alkaline's hardened shell to free her.

In keeping with traditional alien superforms, the only clothes she gets are her own tentacles and or weird tufts of fur.

Point out the gardener to imp. She just has to damage the mushroom armor in strategic locations to make it alluringly revealing.

Moriko's limbs get replaced with lots of tentacles. Good for whipping those hammers around.

At least the imp may have finally learned that quick paths to powers like potions will sometimes do the opposite of solving problems - training, effort and hard work can certainly benefit more at length, and somewhat more permanently at that. At least the 'ill' effects here are liable to fade in time... and affect Moriko in turn. Given that latter point, perhaps imp potion testing time is over and a less willing test subject ought be found. There's at least one more person around here who'd gluttonously quaff potions for a laugh.

Getting a third eye right on the brow for Moriko - I wonder what she might see with something more suited for alien vistas. Maybe with tentacle hair to go, so it doesn't get in the way.

And then perhaps distracting the Hammerai from Reisarf and whatever new assets she's gained would be best. She could perhaps be directed to help drag the intimate tableu to the golem totem so that the golem's instructions can be corrected.

No you're a starspawn, Moriko! Stargazer is very unhappy to hear such disdain for such a wondrous new body. As Moriko's noodly form flails in horror, it sets her two strange additions to a starspawn's anatomy jiggling too. This is very distracting to Stargazer on multiple fronts. Perhaps she has been around humans too long!

"It's just a transforming potion, it'll only last about half of an hour, if that!" Reisarf reassures the transformed hammerai.

Stargazer immediately realises that's almost entirely wrong.

Alkaline grabbed Doyle and tossed some of the mixture of potions still in the cauldron gulper's guts on the both of them. Doyle is crying and trying to not let any more of his contents spill.

The slime's outfit is still looking more crystallised, and she's looking even bustier and thicker than before. The potions continue to be very good at that, Stargazer mentally notes.

"Oh don't mind me, just helping with your potion testing!" Alkaline says brightly. She must still has a grudge about various things that are less important than Moriko's boobs. Take a note of that, Stargazer glares at Doyle. The current formulation for the Rock Eater potion seems to make people choke easily!

Stargazer hurries forward to save the hammerai, steady those frantically bouncing breasts, and remind her she doesn't actually breathe with her tail.

Or rescue her I guess, if you can persuade Moriko to stay still and wait for the milking squad. Also warn the other denizens that Moriko is a cognitohazard and they need to avoid this room until the potions wear off.

Oh wait there's an empty cauldron right there we could use as a container. ...Belphejar has arms too, he can be put on milking duty until we get him some support golems. He seems less affected, anyway.

Is that mushroom-clad golem still following? You could easily drag it to the totem to give it new instructions, if no other golems are around.

Exactly, Reisarf is Stargazer's, no matter how great Moriko's tits are.

Reisarf isn't supposed to cast any spells. Moriko's already taken the Alien Form and Rock Eater potions.

The cauldron golem is making does of the overlapple potion which lets things exceed their normal capacity, which might let Moriko get even milkier.

They might be able to find Moriko's dual potion bottle which would let them apply the enlarging touch to make her boobs even bigger, or conjure golems.

Doyle might be able to brew up some other potion from the ingredients they have on hand, which is most of them. The brewery is right next to the Thaumatorium after all.

For now those two are on milking duty! Doyle salutes resolutely. He will take this duty very seriously! To avoid any contamination, he swiftly decants his remaining potions into bottles, and Reisarf collects them.

Of the less important potions they have 1x Potion of Stone Mist, 2x Alien Form, 1x Rock Eater and 2x Potions of Condensed Activity. There's only one Potion of Heavy Chest left, Doyle rattles apologetically.

As Doyle skitters over to collect milk, he provides an initial analysis.

Alien M. Milk: A substance of questionable provenance that interacts with mana respiration. If drunk, that individual's breasts will help them accumulate mana. The effect is insignificant until the chest is of an appropriate size, then it sharply jumps and plateaus again.

That IS amazing!

Reisarf gently tows Stargazer to the door.

Reisarf leads Stargazer into the Golem Totem.

The gardener golem follows and the other golems are still here, sans the handy brute. While they all have well shaped chests, only two of are of a decent size. Disappointingly some of the golems have covered their boobs up again. Maybe she should ask Reisarf to get them to strip again?

Stargazer shakes her head. That probably won't affect how good they are as milkmaids.

They hasten back. At the entrance to the Thaumatorium find Kali has already started slacking off. Now Linea is here too. Thankfully the other Alkaline looks like she has the boobs for serious business.

She hasn't gone mad, so maybe they're all being too careful about this idea of really big boobs being a cognitohazard. Stargazer tries to look past them, as the golems file inside. She only just left, she's probably worrying over nothing. Moriko's boobs must be safe.

"Milking her didn't help me at all!" Kali complains.

"I understand you've had an interesting evening?" Linea quirks an eyebrow at everyone.

"We've just been testing the potions." Reisarf says. "Though it might be a little dangerous in there."

"Kali's been telling me she's seen a bit of danger herself!"

"Sorry, maybe we can try something once we sort Moriko and Stargazer out?" Reisarf apologises.

Stargazer starts tapping a foot. Why aren't they talking about the important things: big boobs. And Reisarf is too protective! Stargazer's boobs are fine, even if they are a little on the small side. If she really cared she'd be looking at them and feeling them more for the slime swimsuit testing!

Should Kali switch places with Linea, and be a precious, protected, pretty little princess helping a procession of slimes collect water for the Thaumatorium pool, or should all the Alkalines swap and Kali take the place of Alka dwelling in the slime pit to focus on becoming massive and making far too many slimes.
