In a freestyle quest were a lot of factors can be influenced and manipulated by the participators. This means that the whole tone of the story can be dictated by them.

Well, your universe has magic. I woudnt be surprised if he did something to the pic just now.

Both times, it looked like a person if viewed upsidedown, moreso during that movement. So just say a person upsidedown

This.

To find out if he used magic, say "by the way, I'd appreciate it if you dont use magic during this session"

If he says he hasnt used magic on you, say "I never said you used magic, im just letting you know ahead of time. What makes you think I think you used magic"?

Secondly, if you are using magic I would like it if you would avoid doing that, especially during this hearing.

Notes from the quest author

This skill check is successful and it involved combinations of two skills. This shows even if you are worse at something it doesn't mean that your other skills might not come into play and help out with the skill check.

But yeah, lets talk about a mission. Maybe the one we came back from?

:captain6c: It all depends on how you are going to look at it. I did mention that I am a conductor of this orchestra which means that I have the notes sheet, well in this case it would be the camera on your helmet and you just have to perform as similar as the notes and there will be no problem it is as simple as that. But that is why I am so adamant about you telling me the truth. So let's start with the description of the mission where everything went wrong. Tell me what was your prime directive and what you had to accomplish in that mission.
>>
No. 1003911 ID: e51896

Directive is the same as most missions: Cartography. Go to an assigned planet, explore as much of it as I can or certain unexplored important parts of the planet, and record findings and create a map of the planet for future voyagers to explore easier.

This recent mission was to explore and map out a very strange planet that mysteriously phased into existence.

The planet came out of a portal. Apparently, the universe it came from didn't want it and sent it here.

You were cleaning the ship with your buddy Gideon, when you got the message giving you a mission to about exploring that new planet.

:captain2c: There were conflicting reports about that uncharted area of the universe, a lot of probes were send there but nothing returned. Especially when that planet just came out of nowhere. A lot of rumors started speculating about the nature of that planet, that the universe it came from didn't want it, and sent it here and other speculations. I was never superstitious the destination didn't scare me but I would be lying if all the stories didn't at least create a thought in my head if any of the stories were true.

:captain6c: Now I would like to hear from you what exactly did you choose to bring to your mission, starting with your suit armor. This will give me a better insight into what you expected to find on that planet.

Notes from the quest author

Because you choose for this character to be a master survivalist he gets three armors that change the attributes of his astronaut suit. Pick whichever do you believe will be the best for him, but he can only wear one armor piece. Also whatever you choose as your armor pice the same thing is applied to Bull Finkle.

A) Ranger armor pice, this one is primarily designed for withstanding attack from predators and any other kind of blunt and any other kind of attacks. I provide the most defense, it is fairly heavy and it isn't that flexible.

B) All-terrain exploration armor pice, this is primarily designed for withstanding all elements of nature. The cold weather, warm deserts, and even allows underwater diving. It is second best at defense, it is the heaviest of armor pieces but it has better flexibility than the ranger armor piece.

C) Jungle survivalist armor pice, this armor provides the least defense, and it is the lightest one of them all of them but where it excels at it is the camouflage ability. It is best used for avoiding conflicts and sneaking around your problems.

Notes from the quest author

One last thing that I have to add about the vitality of our protagonist. He has two things that are keeping him alive the power of his suit and the wellbeing of his H.T.A.P.U. if one of them is severely damaged there will be penalties for them on your other skills. But it is also possible for fixing any damages that one or the other gets. For the suit power core, you need engineering and components to fix it as for the H.T.A.P.U. you need magic to fix it.
>>
No. 1004010 ID: e51896

I really wish I knew sooner that H.T.A.P.U. requires magic to be fixed. It was the main reason why I chose Robotics, because I thought robotics would help fix H.T.A.P.U., not magic. I always thought magic was stuff like shooting fireballs, lightning, not something that was needed to fix our robot buddy. If I knew that sooner, I would have made some changes to the stat choosing.

Well, maybe we can still upgrade H.T.A.P.U. with our robotics skill to upgrade his defenses later.

Guess we'll need the Ranger armor then to protect H.T.A.P.U. since our magic is bad.

Notes from the quest author

Alright, all of this looks intimidating but it is much simpler. In the lower-left corner, there is the inventory backpack that shows how much free space you have and any item will consume a certain amount of pieces. The first item will be the red blaster that you get along with the holster, which means that this item can be permanently equipped widout the need to put it in the bag and its single cartilage only takes one square of space.

The next weapon is the ion shotgun which is represented with orange color, it is good at close range but not so much at the long-range. Also, its shells take up more space.

Third weapon marked with the blue color rapid-fire blaster, the best way in dealing with multiple opponents at once.

The last weapon is the grenade launcher which is designated with the purple color, this weapon is only best at long range but it is extremely dangerous to use it in close proximity. It can change its grenade types between explosive, incendiary, smoke, acid, and freeze grenade. But if this thing looks like it is taking a lot of space you can simply choose the grenade pack but then you won't be able to change between the other types. The last thing to mention about all the range weapons is that they all come loaded up with the proper ammunition.

In the next color green, we have two close-range weapons the laser cutter and the tazer. The gray color is for robotic companions Gideon and the earworm. The main purpose for Gideon is to follow you around in the rooming mode at which point he can carry additional things while the earworm is primarily used to assess the situation.

At yellow we have the short-range jetpack and the whist mounted portable shield. The shield can also be equipped to be carried all the time and take no space.

The last two pink items are the magical injector and the spear suite core. One can heal the H.T.A.P.U. while the other can instantly fix the damaged suite core.
