>But no, Weaver literally exploded
I don't think you understand what "literally" means.
If you had a legitimate complaint other than "live burial is a common theme in the collective social consciousness and its works", it might have compensated for the fact that your comment was repetitively sarcastic to the point of redundancy, but as it was that whining sarcasm all that really remained.
On top of that, there's the counterpoint about how the trope was implemented, and then even more importantly, the fact that the scene itself was a direct reference to the (rather well-known) movie The Vanishing, so the fact that you've seen it before was sort of the point.
It also didn't help that on top of saying NOPE NEVER SEEN THAT NO SIREE NEVER EVER NOT ONCE IN THE HISTORY OF TIME you were also posting shitty reaction images. Leave that shit somewhere else.
Would it have been so much trouble to actually voice your criticism in the regular way, rather than resorting to /v/-style reaction images and shit? I mean, you could've just said "I feel that the inclusion of live burial in any form or context is automatically trite, because it is so overused".
I'm just saying that I think if you have something valid to add, whether it's positive or negative, it can be expressed in a reasonable and decent way. Trolling as a bannable offense isn't unreasonable. There's no reason we can't just discuss things in a civil way without resorting to reaction images, greentext, samefagging, internet tough guy-isms, or any of that shit that's been spread slowly outward from /b/ and /v/.
I don't think "don't act like a jerk" is asking too much. And anyway, there's always 4chan if you prefer it.
