This will be a short quest which is part of the Rotten Apple world. It can be looked as a stand-alone story, wich will also have a more cheerful tone.

Dissonance flew directly toward the hero in a fit of rage. This probably wasn't the smartest thing for her to do but at the same time Purifier went after her construct and she will not let that stand.

You still have your hat, you're still in the game...

...

say, isn't in a way, the hero is helping you cause chaos by causing some chaos to happen to you and your outfit? the idiot fell right into your hands... right Herald of Chaos? right???

EXTREME response would be along the lines of "Well I'll just have to beat out those eyes so you can't see! Followed by beating your head so you forget what you saw!" Probably too EXTREME though. Less extreme would be tearing off his stuff so you two have even footing. "GRAH! Let's see how you like it pal!"

Whack him again to knock him out! Then you can put on HIS clothes, since he’s so rudely destroyed your own outfit. Once you’ve dressed yourself, you can tie him up somewhere precarious and consider yourself victorious~
>>
No. 1107788 ID: d35172

(Also, his clothes are probably fireproof, so even if he breaks free, he can’t pull the same stunt as before. Come to think of it, why haven’t we invested in a fireproof costume ourselves, actually? Do we secretly like this or something?~)

Well, you're a bard, aren't you? Have you considered trying to...you know, tease him? You're above him. Literally above him. In a pretty precarious position. I'd think you can make something that might get his guard down while you prepare to take all his stuff.

Tiphanie's thoughts: "Why haven't I invested in a fireproof costume, I did tell Nancy to make that costume but I never mentioned to make it fireproof. Did I subconsciously want to get naked and for him to see my body without any clothes? I mean I always wanted him to pay attention to me, isn't this what I wanted to happen? Should I try to tease him?"

Fire, remember? The haystack will burn. If we still our instrument, we should use it to paralyze him for clothes stealing. If not… you could always point out that the farm animals are still going crazy, and that the people are still dancing. He may be besting you in combat, but that doesn’t exactly have an impact on saving the town.

Right, I don’t think he’ll kill us either, but if our plan is to HIDE in the haystack, he could just harmlessly burn the hay away like he did with our dress.

And with that happening Dissonance was captured. So do you wish for the story to continue or do you want this to be its end point? If the story continues there will be a lot of talking and not much of action.

A) Continue the story.

B) End it here.

Ending it here would be a bit anticlimatic don't you think? Should at least continue it a little.

How unsportsmanlike of him to attack while we are stuck! It would seem combat has ended. We can still profusely object to this arrangement! After a futile attempt to wriggle from the hay, let’s figure out how the people and animals are doing since we magicked them up. (This is a vote to continue btw)

The hero was carrying the captured Dissonance, she was wiggling the whole whole time.

Tiphanie: "Come on this isn't fair, I can't even play my instrument while it is tied with me in this stupid hay. My whole performance was supposed to last until the morning!"

Pieter: "That is the whole point. The more you are away from the village the more the power of your music will stick around. If your performance lasted any longer somebody would have died."

Tiphanie: "Oh please, what I gave these villagers was the most impressive show that they could see in their entire boring life. They should thank me for what I gave them, they will be telling stories to their kids of this night."

Pieter: "Yeah yeah, this isn't the first time you told me this. Also didn't you forget to tell me something?"

Tiphanie: "Oh yeah, how could I forget? I'll get you next time! Curses you you foiled my plans once again! You haven't heard the last of me! You and I aren't that different! Some people pay money to be handled this way. When you least suspect I will have my revenge!"

There isn’t much we can realistically do for him to let us out of this hay… Oh! While he’s forced to listen to our grumbling, ask how he was made aware of the herald of chaos summoning stuff. He shouldn’t know about that!
