Ok, cool. So I finally have a reason to post something in this disphit board. And that reason is because it's too shit or not important to be put anywhere else. Great!
Here is a cool thing.
I daresay this reqording is even lower quality than on the official video. Alas, no metronome so loltempo as a result.
This marquee is honestly giving me sudden-onset blood diarrhoea caused by rage.
It's okay to laugh at and criticise my shitty playing.
so uh... you sorta play guitar... that's alright in my book, cus i can sorta play everything.
>>2331 Ahem. Yes, I profess a novitiate guitarist ability. I think the second one I uploaded is shit and degrading, but this is the internet and I don't even give a fuck. cool thing I'm workin' on.
I have gotten a little better, maybe. If you'll please disregard the fuck ups at about 1/2 and 3/4 of the way in, and take some kind of drug to alter your perception of reality, perhaps even you too, will agree.
Hey, why don't I resurrect this thread with more of my shitty guitar playing?! It's been more than a year since I posted something, so surely I've gotten better, right? Here's some music I conjured myself. Actually, I recorded this in November last year, but it's close enough. It also has a drum machine and awful-sounding 'bass.' It's pretty repetitive, though.
And here's another one I did in January. It's a 'cover' of Salomon's Gate, by Beherit. I didn't take much care with the recording, so there's mistakes. But I managed to record two guitar tracks for this, and they turned out to be decently synchronous!
A nice fellow gave me some recording advice, relating to the use of digital VST plugins. So I made this little recording. It uses a distortion plugin that does the exact same thing as my actual distortion stomp-box, used in the recordings above, but it cost 70 dollars less, and it's an completely digital entity. The main advantage is that I can record directly into my computer, without being concerned by my hilariously shitty mic.
Yeah
I think I am getting better at making it sound less shit. I might consider expanding this.
OPWOW
this is a WIP
I made a song about lemurs.
Alright, I can't perform or produce this at a higher level under my current skill. Man, I wish I could sing like Karl Willetts. ;; I'd like a real drum set one day, too.
A tree brush
Experiment in different recording software. Made much of it up on the spot.
Wow, with the amount of shit I am spouting, I must have dysentery.
Listen to this one on your bed, with the light out while you go to sleep.
I started working on a cover of Ritual/Sexual Bloodgargling, by Gororoth. This is a WIP, but I'm finding the drums to be difficult to duplicate, since they are all over the place. Also I'm pretty sure I've got the tempo wrong in parts.
I got a drum kit today. I haven't ever played one before, so that's why it sounds so bad.
This goes here
I played some Gorgoroth riffs through like a guitar synth thing. It was interesting.
This is my harness. It's not complete yet, I still need a bevor and legs. Excuse the mess.
I am working on a shitty EP thing which I will release through Bandcamp at no cost. With work, this will possibly be part of it.
Just an update on the previous WIP

see, its funny because they are dog-shark rabbit people with oven-mitt hands and
>>3574 I guess we sharin' a thread nao, that's cool. Gonna twerk on this a little more but me fingers are raw as a cheap hooker's asshole right now. I got a new and improved guitar interface so naturally I have been spending more time with it.
>>3577 Well, all the parts are recorded, so... But some need redoing, and for a passing thing like this I don't think I'd bother. The lyrics are also in German, and I don't know if I'd be able to pull that off.
I redid the legendarily shitty Freezing Moon solo that I'd posted >>3042 It's better this time, and with backing tracks.
I rerecorded all tracks, made the bass more interesting, but I am having trouble balancing the tracks. It needs more tweaking. Also learning the lyrics.
Alright, here is the version with vocals. My microphone is SHIIIIIIITT. My german is utterly SHIIIIIIT. Put the two together.
Fucking Imgur.
hur
Alright! This is the first real recording I've done that actually uses my drum playing. Everything prior has been Hydrogen or what-have-you. The recording quality isn't great (i'm recording it with my phone, lol), but it's good enough for black metal :V Obviously I still need a lot of practice, but it feels like an achievement. The song is the middle part of Gorgoroth's "Funeral Procession" but is slowed down so my shitty drumming can keep up.
Okay. I am trying to learn to play the drums component of >>3597 so that I do not need to use the drum machine (robots are NOT to be trusted). I cannot get my double-kick fast enough for the chorus. Here is a good example of what happens.
Alright, first full song with my own drumming. I like this song, shame I had to go and ruin it like that. But such is life. Dunno if I'd bother to do bass and vocals. Who knows? EDIT ok for some reason it keeps giving 404. idk, maybe it was the foreign character in the title.
My Avenger is finally airtight. Now I can use it to fight a bunch of flying swords.

It's a me. Murrio!
It can carry a suitcase.
THIS QUIET OFFENDS SLAANESH!
Sorry for inferior quality.
Since I am at my home, here is both of them. I had the one on the right since 2004. Something I frequently lament about is that I didn't really start to get into it until 2011, a little before I made this thread. I could've been a lot better than I am by now. Oh well!
how do anatomy work
I spent hours today learning to play this by ear. I probably could have invented something more interesting for the rhythm guitar, but who cares? Not you, and not me.
I spent the last couple of days making another terrible Lemur-themed death metal song.
Example
It would be cool if I could find enough inspiration to make more than ~1min recordings.
I can now record my drums with the good microphone. However it doesn't make me any better at playing them.
Anally-insert
shit
Thinking the opening riff is too uncreative, now that I have heard it over 666 times. I might replace it with the riff at the end. Also vocals test.
Attempting Dungeon-Synth.
It needs something else to add to the atmosphere. Like generic wind effects. I don't want to make it really any longer because it is repetitive, and more casual listeners get really bitchy about ambient synth tracks. I will probably lump this shit in with some of the metal tracks above (and below) if I ever finish either.
Alright, dunno what to do with it now.
ANOTHER!
I am no Wardruna
version 666
I closed my eyes and chose soundfonts at random, to see what I can make with the ones I get. Only 40mins so naturally it's shiet.
Since I upGAYded to windows 10, I lost my old Superior Drummer files, and have switched to a lower-quality (but free) alternative that is similarly functional. Although less versatile than SD, it's good enough for now. I had to rebuild all of the drum tracks I had made for this song, which is tedious, but it requires less motor skills and physical endurance than playing them on the real drum set.
ok I changed the end part. Sounds rather Satyricon ripoff, but it'll do.
I'm not going to keep the solo at the end as it is. Also i got so sick of the start that I redid it completely.
