This thread is too image and ID to be anon.

One day Opal who was Ruby Quest's sister was in an OFFICE, sitting near a COMPUTER.

OH MY GOD, the memories!

It was the first isometric video game I played, some... what, ten? twelve years ago? I was all like "holy shit is that 3D?!"

Never got past the yellow ground, though. Wow, that level is huge. I so wanna play it again.

Yeah. I can't imagine you can achieve much in there with impeded mobility, vision, and effectively thick gloves on. How the hell would you press the little tabs on 8P8C connectors? No to mention the risk of static buildup!

At least it explains why server rooms are so heavily air-conditioned, though.

I see your ground-effect missile-artillery plane and raise you a jet-powered fighter seaplane.

(The only remaining SR.A/1 is in my University town; my PhD supervisor was telling me about Saunders-Roe's clever-but-just-after-the-world-changed experimentals. And of course since we hate success in this country, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Arrow :
>As of 2010, the United Kingdom is the only country to have successfully developed and then abandoned a satellite launch capability.
