Hmm. Carefully picked an angle that totally obscured the ponytail that made me put up with inaccurate hair. But at least it hides the gun clipping issues from not being a six-foot superman.

Oh, right. This is pretty funky. The actual character definitions are stored in metadata of images of cute little comic pages. So if you want to try improving Moalla you should be able to drop the (non-thumbnailed!) version of this into ...steamapps\common\champions online\Champions Online\Live\screenshots, create a new female in one of your slots (there are two for free players, so one to actually play, and one to muck about with chargen in and never actually hit finish), and load her.

Character archtype seems to have no effect for this except that only soldiers can pose with guns.

And here's Bangles. It looks like you can apply non-free parts if you clear the little checkbox near the bottom-left; it just won't let you hit finish and use it. Which you weren't going to do with someone else's character anyway, right.

Incidentally, if you hit Print Screen, it saves a capture sans UI elements to the screenshot folder ( >>16725 ). Also if anyone else is still trying, I find it's most helpful to go through chargen backwards, starting with parts, then tweaking sliders.

A lot of the textures are pretty fucking stupid like that. I was trying to make a big glowing robot, and there were some neat bits of upper arm armor with glowybits, but if you set the texture on the part to metal (instead of the default non-glossy leather) it doesn't glow any more.

I don't even know what the fuck re: textures in this game half the time.

Note that if you log all the way into your character, the Bonus (rightmost) tab of the in-game C-store will now have one free character slot you can buy for zero points, even for Silver scrubs like me who have never given Cryptic/Atari a single red cent.

Also a partial Gando from a while back I couldn't finish because no checkerboard pattern for clothes or right material shapes.
