I can’t take the silence anymore. The walls no longer creak, the clock no longer ticks.
I find myself forgetting reality.
Simple things, meaningful things.
The Abyss beckons to me. But I can’t…

I need to distract myself, even for a moment.
But I can’t think of what to write.

>One last thing: Divine the diamond shape that’s associated with the corruption.
This place in particular is marked by a battle of wills.
One which the
mortal is losing.
It possesses a vision that is uncommon for its kind.
But by bearing witness to such awesome and terrible wonders it is made
vulnerable to those who can look back.
Slowly, like a cataract, sight is made blind.

The Haze overtakes thought.

And
One waits for a new skin to wear.

>Yes do this.

Promises-
-Promises cannot-
-should not be broken between Beings.

Breaking one’s ultimate word is akin to breaking-

-one’s own will.

Beings that are not annihilated outright are instead-
-hollowed out-
-and made shadows of their former selves.

It made its Promise recklessly-

-needlessly-
-because it-
-it-
-thought, it was making a Promise to a mortal. Not You.

Promises to mortals are-

-empty-
-lies.

It may have reconstructed the mortal, but with
You-
-it had to.

It recommends-
-greatly-
-that You enter this mortal in this place-
-realm-
-for your exit was all but clean.
Clean.

((That explains it. Also, we don't have to worry about the promise we made to the Vessel, it's... just symbolic for us. A relief that the phrasing won't come back to bite us in the ass, but also a shame we can't demonstrate our loyalty in a more concrete manner.

I wonder how we met the Vessel...? It must've been after the encounter with the faceless Being, otherwise that Promise would've been enforced. Also, I wonder if we can trick the Mask into making a Promise to the "Vessel" again, so that it sticks due to our presence, and backfires upon it.))
Thank you for the information. ...do you know our Name or Title? Or how we may have lost it?

Infiltrate the Vessel. ((We know this hides us effectively, which will be needed.)) Though it wouldn't hurt to come up with ideas on other methods of joining them.

>Thank you for the information. ...do you know our Name or Title? Or how we may have lost it?
It does not recognize your shape.
Your presence surprised us.
But names are easily replaced-
-interchanged-
-or stolen from others. They are something so small that even a mortal could make them.
You might even craft one yourself.
Be it to hide your Title or past misdeeds.

Intents.
Or true nature.

But such Names are hard to craft yourself, as one made by
You will still hold Your echo.
Resonance.

As for your Title, it has not been heard.
It would remember.

A Title can only be broken-
-or stolen-
-when one’s will is weak, and the opponent’s Potency is-
-towering-
-strong.

You have an enemy.
Enemy.

I vote: Bind to the Heart. It will help us understand this corruption. Our vessel's food supply is already low, we are weak and will need to build our strength back up, being able to do that more efficiently will be good.

>What were you going to say?
>Sorry if we interrupted Vessel.
>Yes, let's hear what our Vessel has to say before choosing.
”I can…”
-feel you moving in.
It’s like my body is going numb, but I can feel odd pinpricks going back and forth.
It doesn’t hurt.
But it’s like all of my limbs are falling asleep.
And when you ‘talk’ it is more like I can feel your words, rather than hear them.

What’s weird is that this sensation doesn’t feel alien to me.

>All the spots we can think of have benefits and drawbacks... I don't like going back to your head, you will forget things if we go there. Maybe that's why you forgot us before... and the enemy made us forget everything too.
Don’t go there, I want to remember you.
I… don’t know why you have forgotten everything too, but…
...it feels like I was the reason why.

>Do you have a preferred spot?
>If you have a preference please make it known.
Um, I’m not sure, definitely not my head if it is going to make me forget. What would make you the strongest?

>Spheres, we have a 'power' but know not what it does or what it could possibly do, can you share what it does or what kind of thing it could be. Additionally can you share what kind of costs could be taken from a Being.
It-
-It-
-is unfamiliar with task-
-the joys-
-of harvesting a mortal.

Most Beings it is aware of do not question the costs of mortals.
But as spoken-

-You are an curiosity.
Anomaly.

As for
Your ‘power.’ It is unfamiliar.
But has guesses.
You are a parasite-
Symbiote.
That much is clear. But You also seem to have bent this creature to Your will. It accepts-
-desires-
Your presence.

Make us strongest? I am flattered that you are more concerned with us than you. We gain unique strengths from each position, that is true, but... you get drawbacks. Let me list what the drawbacks are for you, you must have opinions on them. This is an incomplete list, however; we are not done looking for choices.
Heart: You will need a better diet. You will find us hard to ignore.
You will become "Fatigued."
Neck: Your voice will betray our presence. You will find our shape obtrusive. You will become "Raspy."
Stomach: You will find sleep more restless. You will need to eat more often. You will become "Volatile." I don't like the powers for this one, by the way.
I suspect the adjectives in quotes have hidden meanings. Also, the choice is not permanent.
Some of the strengths have relevance for you, but... the White and Red Thoughts are listening. Let's not spill the beans.

Alright. I’ll try to give you my thoughts.
Thank you for involving me.

>Heart: You will need a better diet. You will find us hard to ignore. You will become "Fatigued."
I’m not worried about ignoring you, or about becoming “Fatigued.” You’re keeping my own interests in mind so ignoring your advice would seem like a bad idea. I only have the cans of soup in my room, and I can’t go out. So I’m not sure how we would get ‘better’ food.

>Neck: Your voice will betray our presence. You will find our shape obtrusive. You will become "Raspy."
I don’t like that choice. I mean-
I don’t really talk to people, at all really, other than I think Etzil. But if me talking will somehow reveal you…
I’m afraid that I might get you hurt...

>Stomach: You will find sleep more restless. You will need to eat more often. You will become "Volatile." I don't like the powers for this one, by the way.
If you don’t like it, then we should go with something else. It still has the same problem as Heart, but maybe I can ask Etzil to find us some food.
