The World of Orange Canyons!
The World of Orange Canyons!
Blub blub Huge fish
Red Wires.
"Cut the red wire!" "THEY'RE ALL RED WIRES!"
Wait, how are we controlling where we go? Green Spikes and Yellow Orbs both sound scary, so let's go to Red Wires.
Yellow Orbs sounds nice and peaceful to me!
Surely your transport wouldn't mind that!
Go for the Green Spikes it might be full of lush vegetation.

You aren't controlling where the eel goes, but your votes make the author select a world where the eel decided of its own free will to go to that place. Narrative bias is fun.
> This voideel is migrating, it will stop by the world of Green Spikes and a few others on its way to the world of Darkish Oceans.
or something like that
The Floating Country, my WHATAMIDOINGventure!
The Human Inequality, AKA the adventure I'm actually working on right now.
Also, you should look at It's Anyone's Game, and possibly update it! Cause it's awesome like that.
Also formspring because why not.

"Any idea where we're going?" she asks, finding it a little difficult to talk in such a strange environment. "Can you even talk? Do you have a name?"
~I do not use the solid words you use, child of azure,~ it responds, its soft voice ephemeral and distant. ~Kalahimu is a name you may consider. I travel to the lands of jade.~
Lapis interprets that to mean the World of Green Spikes. She's never been there before, but she has heard many tales of it being a dangerous place to visit, filled with perilous hazards, vicious monsters and fantastic treasures.
Perfect grounds for an adventure, essentially.
The bubble around Kalahimu begins to shrink and collapse as it leaves the void between worlds. Lapis feels a little less dulled and lethargic, and watches the new world rapidly approach.
~We part ways here, child of azure. From here I must weave to reach my home, and you would not survive the journey. I have heard your dreams, Lapis, and I wish you luck.~
Before Lapis can even respond, she loses her grip on Kalahimu and falls tumbling down to the world below. She sees the ever-growing ground hurtling towards her, struggling to breathe in the thin air, and...
The next thing she knows, she's staring up at an unfamiliar green sky, and is met with a concerned face.
"Are you okay? You fell but I saw you falling and you were going to fall on spikes but I don't think you would like falling on spikes so I ran to where you were going to fall and made a soft landing thingy and you're on it right now!"
"Oh and I caught you too and it kinda hurt but you're not dead now so it all was worth it! Did you break anything?"
Lapis is in a little too much pain and bewilderment to speak, but tries to shake her head. Through some miracle, she feels incredibly bruised, but otherwise in one piece. "I can help you up if you want," the strange creature says. It offers a hand, but can't quite reach Lapis with its stubby arms. How does Lapis respond?

Why would you turn down help? Lot easier than finding someone to help you.
Sit up and reach harder. Also groan incoherently.
>G'head and get up. Thank him for the save, too, it's only polite.

>Get up, and grab the guy(?)'s hand, he(?) did his best to save you, so go ahead, also, might be good to ask for his name.
(name be: Fern/Verde if a guy,
Kelly/Jade if a girl
surname as Celadon)

"Th-thank you. You saved my life. Who are you?" she mumbles to her green saviour, before tumbling forwards and knocking both him and herself down to the ground.
"Oof! Careful! You could hurt someone or yourself if you fall over too much around here! The ground can get a bit jagged! My name is Alkasi, though, and you're welcome," he says, standing up and dragging Lapis back onto her feet. "Can you walk?"
Lapis takes a step forward, and another step, and walks merrily forwards before the deceptively rough ground trips her over. "Agh! Ow! OW ow ow why is this world so much pain why?!"
It takes time, but eventually Lapis and Alkasi set off walking across the rough viridian plains of the harsh World of Green Spikes. Even the very winds feel as though filled with glass, though Lapis is pretty certain that this sensation is just due to how scratched up she is.
"So, uhh..." says Alkasi, after a long awkward silence. "Why did you, uh, fall out of the sky, anyway? Where are you from?"
"Oh. Um. I'm from Blue Crystals."
"Where's that?"
"What do you mean?" asks Lapis, genuinely confused how someone wouldn't recognise the name of a world once streaming with tourist traffic.
Once the blue crystals went, though, so did the visitors, and while Lapis at first enjoyed the peace and quiet, it was as if the life of the place had departed with them.
"Well, I don't know a Blue Crystals," says Alkasi. "I haven't seen any blue crystals around here."
"It's another world."
"You're from another world?!" Alkasi's eyes light up at the very idea.
"Yes. Why? Is that surprising?"
"Well, yes! Why did you come here of all places? The jagged plains are terrible! Everything wants to kill you! The only reason I'm not back home with my friends and family is because I'm on a quest!"
"I didn't have a choice- wait. A quest?" Lapis' tongue flicks in intrigue.
"Yes! I am looking for the... for the... um..." says Alkasi, trailing off as he tries to recall what it was.
What was Alkasi looking for?
